i'm listening to LIF - blade runner and thought i love hearing jazzy stuff in my tunes  help me out with artists who are doing it. |

dunno the track mentioned in the original but Zenon, especially Sensient, a much-o jazz/funk influenced.
Love the intro to track one on Intelligent Manipulations compilation. |

I guess he wouldn't fall under trance exactly, but checkout Outolintu.
His Odd Man Out album has some moments off such musicianship that I had to recommend to my dad, a jazz musician from San Francisco's jazz era.
I thought only he'd dig track 9, but he liked the first track right off the bat.

About Space Funghi Project (from their myspace profile)
With an abstract flow, reminiscent of Miles Davis after a long night on cocktails, playing over Red Holt, in the Mos Eisley Bar. The unique programming and blending of the live instrumentation (drums, bass, guitar and sax.) mixes many different styles and moods together.
The result is a hybrid of electro/ lounge/ ambient/ drumn'bass/ fusion and jazz(now thats a lot of genres all in one). Their music helps paint a picture of spectacular sunsets in the bands' native sunny Mexico. In fact, the music is almost like a visual kaleidoscope that takes the audience through a fusion of sounds and sights.
