i know i'm a bit late in posting this but hey, better late than never...
this is a free psytrance party going on TONIGHT in athens, georgia usa. i played with dj moksa this friday in asheville nc, and this guy definitely knows what he is doing. jeff (dj invisible) has been a part of the psytrance scene here in ATL from the beginning, and never dissapoints (not to mention he's just a really cool guy)...
here are the details...

Take 3:16 into Athens. Follow Broad Street all the way towards the end of downtown. Come to the fourway light and turn left on Thomas. Pass the Athens Civic Center and at the 2nd light turn right on Hancock. The club is on the left. You can park at the lot pass the club or in one of the downtown decks.

it was awesome! when i got there around midnight, there were already a bunch of people there (probably about 70+, quite a bit for a fairly small venue). although it seemed like the vast majority of the people that were there did not necessarily come for the music (athens is a college town with a lot of other bars that people filtered in from), nearly everyone on the floor was dancing the whole time (some people got quite vocal!). the soundsystem was great, the club's lights were effective (no psy-art or blacklight, but perhaps they can work on that for next time) and there was plenty of space in the the other room to sit down and relax on the couch with a $1 drink... all in all a great night, can't wait to do it again!

hey michael...sorry i couldn't make it...really wanted to go. but i'll definately be up for the next one...anytime...anywhere...haven't been to athens yet..wanted to go check it out cuz i was plannin on transfering there next sem..but i think i changed my mind...gsu seems okay...and with ppls like you to spin some goa...i think i'll stay back ;). |

no worries abhi, there are a couple of other things coming up.. wild bill (swerve_dc) will be in asheville_nc on feb22, and we will be playing outside here in ATL on march02. further details as they become available...
