It's close to eight O'clock Saturday morning and I'll be heading north in a couple of hours. I wish the Isratrance would convert the timestamp to local time or had a setting for us to do so, but thems the breaks.

Anyway, I had been hoping to go with someone or have someone go with me, but it appears I'll be making the trip alone. I live in Santa Ana, about 4 miles from the 5 freeway and 414 miles from 1117 Howard Street. If you'd like to pick me up or have me rendezvous for a rideshare, post here or send an e-mail. I'll check near leaving time and we can make it happen. I'll kick in for gas if we go in your vehicle. I do need to come back tomorrow arriving home before ten O'clock at night. A lot of driving for twelve hours of various kinds of sanity and madness. Should be an interesting and entertaining night with different activities.

No matter how I get there, I'll see you all there and we'll be stomping!           - - -

total mad blast!!!! so much fun, incredible new venue, crisp and clean sound (more volume maybe next time, but not 100% necessary) and tons of happy people just lettin loose.

great to see you made it Kevin, told you it was going to be worth it

Thank you Leo, Jason, Seraphi center, and everybody else involved. This goes into the permanent memory banks for sure.

It was such a treat to play next to such good friends as well, the music all night was just prime mental material, beginning to end, but with a story throughout the night. Kudos!! Until the next one..............           We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

this was an absolutely fantastic event!
the place was PACKED!
so many great people were there! it was definitely a meeting of the minds. so many people I havent seen in a while!
most excellent DJ sets by LeoHawk and Treetop. such sick-ass tracks!
the Live sets of Parus and the Fractals were thick and chunky, very trancy, great stories told by brilliant minds. We Monks had a blast performing our live act, such great response!
Props to the Resonance crew and the Sera-Phi healing center!

DUDE!!! You were so right about that. It was well worth the trip. I really liked the music you and Bodhi played/made. Had me airborne at times, and other times into a trance state with an expansion of time dilation effect. Research is ongoing. The second track you played and the one sometime near the middle of your set when Leo went up and tweaked one them knobs you guys are always twisting were two I was really liking. I do not understand how a keyboard can used as I saw Bodhi using it to make music, but he was having a good time and seemed right clued into what you were doing at the same time. New or old, they're new to me and great songs. I liked all the music I heard. Only a few moments of the whole night did I have to stop and wait ever so briefly for the track to change as I didn't want to fall down. 7+ hours. I am tripping on how many people packed in there, even late at night/early in the morning when you and then the Fractal Cowboys were playing. Right nice when the neighbors have blue hair and like parties too! The police in San Francisco are not like the ones in most of the Orange County cities. It may not be the seventies any more, but there still is an Orange Curtain around this county. Those Parus guys really thumped some tracks for lots of stomping. Lots of energy they have. The tag team with LeoHawk vs. Treetop was good. Had me going from the start.

As I had arrived at 6 for the Potluck and Propaganda gathering, I got to meet Leo and I have forgotten Treetop's name. I'll just have to go up there and ask him. Lotus, Yariv, Tony, Lois, and many more. That part of the night was something that I had no idea as to what to expect. Nice group of people. We talked about many subjects and watched some propaganda and counterculture documentaries. I did well to stay off my soapbox even when I was agreeing with some of the things being shown or talked about. The psychedelic mushrooms and Santa Claus connection caught me offguard. Made me wonder about it, especially when they showed the fountain at the Vatican! I mentioned to Leo that I had read Mubali's post in this very thread about him stopping by to party with us, and Leo informed me that Mubali was going to play for us! A right nice surprise for me. I was in a good mood before the event even started and it got better as the night progressed. I am trying to imagine Mubali and the Monks making music together. You kidnapped him and back to San Diego you went. I hope you guys bring some to the Mojave for us to dance to. I liked the Sera Phi, but I still like the sound of music outdoors best when compared to indoors. Room to roam too.

I never did make it up to the chill stage while music was being played and I was wanting hear some of God Intoxicated's music. I saw Dmitry later after his set was apparently over and remembered too late. It's really hard to be in two places at once. I did make it up there when the music was over. Bodhi was kicking it on the floor with a few people. One of them was Casey, whom I had met out in the desert of southern Nevada for Destination Unknown. He was rounding up people to continue after leaving the Sera Phi. It didn't work out that way, but I made it over for a few hours before heading back home. He has a poster of an event from 2005 in Las Vegas at a paintball place with a Bodhi, Hidroponic, DJ Shem, and I've forgotten the others. Seeing this made me even more convinced at how far away people are and how they come together for the music. My observation that I made a few months backs can be said again. If you want to hear this music, played liked that, then you have to go to where it is because it doesn't come to you and you won't find it on the radio or television. Even if it was, I still like it best with the people that are there with me. What a great crowd this night. I saw a few people that I'd only met once before, like from the Gemini festival or Mojave. Made some new friends too, though I scared a potential one when I got on the soapbox about Viacom + MTV destroying Ren & Stimpy and all he said was, "Nice shirt".

Looking forward to the next two gatherings back in sunny Southern California. Indian Forest Reserve and the Mojave Desert. I hope people from the north can make the trip. If so, stop by and say hi.
Thank you for the Resonance.
And thank you for the extra motivation Tom.
