A very good live band me thinks! as I said in another thread, that live preformers truly do make an act, instead of just 2 people behind a sea of plugs.
Another bonus was the low amount of attendees. Not such irritating "traffic jams" as in the IM or Hallucinogen gigs.
...was anybody there ? (pretty stupid question, granted that there are like two finnish persons in the forums besides me) |

Yes, I was there.
To tell the truth I had much more fun there than in the Simon P or Infected gigz. The aforementioned "big" events I considered only as a novelty 
Even though I do like Hallucinogen`s music, I was afterwards a bit miffed when I heard his live set from somewhere else, and it was disturbingly similar to the Helsinki one...
And for IM i don`t care about them so much, besides the "classical mushroom" album.
Another fact is that Makasiiniklubi is a bad place to have party with 1000+ peoples because , for example the windows cannot be opened because of the noise (neighboring people get mand and complain to the cops, or something like that)
And the bouncers of the place are throughbread a**holes. Like at the Mushroom gig, a girl passed out like 1 meter from our table and the bouncers carried her out.
And while I happened to be out smoking at the time, I conversed with the bouncers while they were waiting for the ambulance that they should like show a little compassion, and atleast aknowledge the fact that the girls dehydration etc.
Has something to do with too many people in a relatively small space, which cannot be air conditioned in any way. And they were just like, fuck it, She OD`d! Such bastards, no respect for other people |

i tought this shit is happaning only in israhell... i'm fully suprised lauri !!
here in israel theres no respect for the party ppl too.. ppl died in partys, or fadeout and almost nobody cares. thats very sad.

The point was, that when you have a party at a venue like makasiinit, It`s almost criminal to sell so many tickets to the happening.
There was literally water dripping from the ceiling, It was like a f***ing sauna in there
And for the bouncers, don`t they have any compassion at all, instead of cracking stupid jokes whie someone is in distress, even if it is self-induced.
have a heart. that was my point.

I see your point..
but have you been to the more commercial parties like for example the Astral Projection party a few months ago..
I mean Jesus.. they freaking make you strip (almost) before they even let you in, and the place is full of undercover cops who freaking follow you all the time and try to smell the air everytime some1 even lights a cigarette.
..I agree Makasiinit is usually pretty crowded but hey, they gotta make back the money what it costs to arrange parties like this..
And i rather pay 13€ for the ticket and see 800 people there than pay 26€ and see 400 people there..
