I've used it. It's pretty good. Most of the presets will change your whole overall sound immensely, so I just stick with Sonnox Oxford Limiter now and use some tape saturation plugin           www.musicproductionnatural.com || www.facebook.com/djamoeba | facebook page

i let the mastering to the ones that has the tools. knowledge and room acoustics for it!

for our live sets... a good overall mix from the start and a good limiter will do the job!           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

they improved it, softs made by izotope are really good, from ozone to radius to their sample rate convertion. i don t like much the eq cause of the interface but i m sure it s as good as eq costing twice the price of ozone ,add to that muliband compression, imaging, good limiter... it could be the perfect plugin to put on every chanel imo. for mastering it s good too but you have to try different chain depending the music and tracks so juts using ozone it s a bit limiting imo.

ozone is great tool but as has been said leave it to the people with the knowledge and the gear. just focus on getting a nice level mix at around -6db. (correct me if i'm wrong) thats what i shoot for is about -6db peak.

which brings me to a question of my own:
when mixing should the mixer (person) be concerned with the rms value of the track. say during a mix what would the ideal rms value be. or is the rms value left up to the mastering engineer when he applies master bus compression which i'd assume would be the case is to leave it up to the mastering engineer. however, i know that creating a level sound field is very important so that when master compression is added it is not extremely difficult to keep from ruining all the nice little transients and squashing peaks??           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)

Everyone has their own way of working but personally I never think about the RMS of the track when we're writing and mixing. When mastering it's very important, of course.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

The best is not do home mastering... give it to professionals who have expensive outboard gear to run your final mix down through.

Izotope Ozone is a good in the box solution.

Just don't drive it to hot!           https://www.djjeto.com

pavaka i don t understand what you mean with surpress but it have eq compression, saturation ,stereo imaging, limiting ...many chanels would benefit from few if not all these things ,but in that case you don t use it to make things loud ,just as a mixing tool.they did alloy for that but i think it s not as good as ozone, but take less cpu

I don't think any all-in-one mastering plugin is going to provide the best possible tools for each task it includes. Better IMO to use separate plugins and choose each one carefully.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
