looks dope. downloaded the trial and plan to work with it today after I've finished procrastinating setting my studio up again.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

THIS IS THE SHIT!!!!!

I downloaded the trial version, played around for like two minutes, uploaded one of my own samples, messed with that a bit and immediately pulled out my credit card to purchse. This is exactly what I have been waiting for, the possibilities seem endless!

Watch your credit card...for me this was by far the quickest download of trial to purchase conversion. I think it took like 5 minutes at most.

But then, with the kind of "ghosttrain" music i have been doing lately, this fits perfectly. Its so easy to create these Burial type voices with this. I think Im gonna make a blatant Burial rip-off track next, kind like you did your Atmos track, hehehe           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

Sooo, I played around with this one all weekend, and it is great! Just dont let yourself be turned-off by the preset patches, they are thoroughly unspectacular to say the least, and IMHO they don`t show off Iris real strengths.

Iris really shows its power if you start fucking with your own samples, to make haunting soundscapes out of normal voices or choir sounds. It comes with a great selection of vintage waveforms, but to fuck with waveforms Omni or just classical subtractive synthesis is much better. However, fucking with samples of everyday sounds, or even full musical recordings, this is superb. For example the track I am working on is constructed to a lalrge part out of the same sample of Lisa Gerrards "Sacrifice", I just played it on different pitches and highlighted different frequencies of it in Iris. Anyways, when its done I`ll post it in the workshop!
