IX-LAM-AT is the fresh progressive trance project
of Mexican duo Luisa Sanchez aka Cosmowich and
Israel Gutierrez Vara aka Nizzel, who is also one part
of legendary Ski Fi.
Inspired by many journeys to their Mexican roots,
IX-LAM-AT music style is much influenced by
their experience of origin Mexican nature and culture.
They combine tribal groove elements and straight baselines with warm and sensual melodies,
embedded in tidy, inciting arrangements.
All these attributes make their debut album a high
quality production, proving also their patience for
detailed and ambitious sound patterns.
It will set a remarkable sign to the international
trance dance community for sure.

IX-LAm-AT is the most recent Progresive Tribal Trance project formed
by Luisa S. a.k.a. ( Cosmowich ) and Israel G. a.k.a. ( NizZel - Ski Fi ).
Bouth borned in Mexico city at the beginning of the 80's, have beeing
fanatics of the elctronic music from its beginning and have continued
the evolution of this thru Psycodelic Music, finding a special sense to
the evolution of this one.
Inspired by big masters of the genere as: Freq, Antix, Atmos, D-Nox,
Beckers, Yotopia, etc, etc ... and many others out of the genre like: Depeche mode, Dead Can DAnce, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Jetro Tull,
etc, etc....
with full of motivation in life, they began to travel to different parts
along Mexico country in search of inspiration, finding most of it in
Mexican Caribe, discovering the big beauty and experienced the Mayan
culture thru his cosmovision of the universe known by the big prophet of
that time PAKAL VOTAN.
The Mayan were measuring the time in natural form, synchronized
with the sun, the moon and the stars. From this arised the theory that we
are all a part of the universe, and the stars have a big influence to our
conscienceness and spirit.
With this knowledge Ix-Lam-At is preparing their first album
kin ethics with IONO Music, including great tracks for spending
a nice time on next festivals.
