don't listen to the same music ALL the time..
ofcourse that could get boring..
Seeing this stuff had a repetative kick.. with little imagination it bores quickly i suppose.. ; )
But it's what they do with and around the kick where it gets groundbreaking.. and new and fresh and fucking awesome !
but you all know this (i bet your generation had groundbreaking stuff as well ! )
please don't listen if you're bored.. or ..
make an effort to find GOOD new music... and don't complain you have to search.
i can imagine it not feeling nice to not be able to be listen to this music because? of getting older..  i dread the day that happens..
i suggest you stop trying.. or wait some time.

This is what I'm getting from reading the posts in this thread...
Most people are saying...
"I don't listen to psytrance anymore because I'm too 'cool' and 'mature' for this stuff; so instead I listen to non electronic music and other music that isn't psytrance. But I still spend a good chunk of my time posting on a forum dedicated to psytrance... which I dislike."

in my case i have been into a lot of fases while listening to psytrance, from full on, to goa, to dark, to prog, and know i am kind of stuck in chill out/ambient.
of course my tastes are always in motion..to be stuck always in the same stille..well..it is not for me

I don't listen to full on as much as I did before.. i guess that's the only difference. I wonder how the music will be in 10 years from now. But many of the people i know started listening to more minimal tech, progressive trance, and many outside the scene artists.. |

I love going back to listen to what I was partying to in the early 90's until now... can't beleive some of the cheese i loved b ack then!
It also makes me realise how good the quality of my favorite cutting edge psy labels now sound
