no , but on second thought - never did too much (well 6-7 years ago i did)
there is much more music in trance .
not all is "fullon" "prog" or "dark"
try deeper in the rabbit hole.

Sometimes sticking to old forumlae works better...

Example: I love Metallica today as much as I did in 6th grade (1991), and I would have loved them as much had my parents played me metallica "Ride the Lightning" in the 80s..

.. However, their last album sucked balls for me, because they sobered up and lost what made them special.

Moral of the story? Stick to what works, and when it gets tired look out for new stuff

I listen to chillout which is the best psychedelic music right now but i still listen to all the demo albums that come out maybe i find a good track! Even one good trance track is enough to give me more energy to continue in life! I miss the psychedelic side of partying it's not the same the music changed to a non psychedelic feeling i understand what you mean ans wish that some really good dancefloor psychedelic music would come out right now! I dream about it everyday!

          Boom :)

I got older and I listen to other music. Evolve or die. I like it 120, 130, 140, 150, 160 -----> melodic, bleepy, weird, strange, harmonic, simple, complex, monotonic, polyphonic, techy, poppy, rocky, punky, electronic, twisted, sane, reggae, psy, house, thrash, industrial... whatever is good to me and moves a fiber I like. There is so much music out there, so good, so representative of the times we live. Looking back is nice once in a while, specially when you show music made way back then to ppl who did not experienced it. But today we are different... so instead of Mozart, wagner and so on I would listen to more contemporary composers, those who are making history now. Those who are defining music now for ppl in the future. That is what interests me.

Can u enjoy the same music that ur used to do 5,6, 10 years ago? I mean some producers still doing the same "formula" from the past. Can u still listenning "trance n roll" 145 bpm trax? One good thing with this music is that it constantly changes and gets more complex and deep.New music technology allows the producers to use sounds in new kind of ways

If you are tired of the same old stuff try some new kind of psy,the psy music is like a big tree with many branches, try a new branch

For example check this out

I listen more to the 1997 - 2001 era of tunes more than I ever did. its the stuff that inspired me to spend years, studying and learning audio technology and its the stuff I turn to again today to get inspiration to write the new tunes.
