am i the only one that feels a change is on the way????
after more or less 3 years of FullOn reign me and some of my friends feel that people are a bit bored and that a new style is comming to the world, personaly i think(hope) Minimal will have a great come back but allso Sub6 style(which i cant really define) will have its say.
what do u feel, think or wish for?
have a nice TRIP.

hey djnomolos... dude this will be another one of those topics.... i too feel the same about fullon and also wish the return of minimal...

i however dont think minimal will make a comeback like that .. but progressive (both are the best for me) .... fullon tends to bore me...

but i think ur right .. fullon is on its way out ... not necessary out of the trance scene totally but maybe it will or has become comercial in a way ???

i think most of us desire something a tad more palitable these days ... hence proggy stuff.. who knows maybee something else completely different is on its way???

doesnt really matter though .... as long as its good and u can dance to it !!! Thats the bottom line.

laters.

Nice one djnomolos ... i've been thinking about this change for a while , but i dont think Full - On is on its way out . theres alot of people who still enjoy full on , and alot of artists who still makes it . as for the change , i dont know about progressive or minimal , but in my opinion , artists who makes intelligent and different music like Sub6 , Panick , Pixel and so on , will lead the change in their way ...
anyway , Full - On isnt dead yet ...

Peace out .

i'm missin' the times psytrance was melodic and yet not cheesy..

then again i kinda dig the progressive, yet not too melodic style, far from minimal though..

here's my old candy: hallucinogen - lone deranger

here's my new candy: prometheus - robot-o-chan

..full on is nice at parties and all but not too great for homelistening.. the majority of it anyways..

yes what was once known as full on is on its way out. or is just about entering into the house progressive tech fullon tech etc etc etc. or is it just becomng more exceptable.

Trance music made psyheads dance like never before
fortunately psychedelic dancers enjoy new sounds psychedelic sounds heavy kicks, basslines that arent so repetitive, sounds that evoke the senses, full on is a dying bread and a new breed of trance is evolving which is harder more psychedelic which makes you dance like never before.

This music can be found on releases by parvati, stoneage, disco valley, dejavu, boom, insyde media, and many others who have been enlightning minds for the last couple of years.

some full on is actually way more minimal than the actual minimal trance..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Was I asleep or something? When were those three years?

I think we each find our genre of liking. For me, the past 2 years have been progressive trance years. Proggy reigned and still does, though as always I listen to other stuff as well.

There are hardly any genres that disappeared completely. There's just a shift of power, a change on the wind, and it's good. Always.

progress... move on... keep on trying new stuff... test your senses...

over and out.           Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

Karnaf - excluding Domo and Moksha parties you really don't get a lot of quality minimal/prog, and even then there's not usually a wide selection of sounds from all over the place and time, but rather trendy stuff. On the other hand, even Gabi&The Twins have moved to full-on (well, Gabi was always a full-on DJ, but now they've started bringing full-on acts and DJs and not proggy ones) - and I'm not talking about most other parties in Israel where the only chance you'll have to listen to something that isn't full-on is in the first 2-3 hours of the party.

Doof do something original with the music in their parties, Psychedelic Zion even more so, Moksha and Domo as mentioned earlier aren't into full-on (yet???), but these are just a few and are NOT the main part of the trance scene, despite their success and good parties. Then again, Israel is known as the home of Israeli full-on, so we get a lot of that           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

That's interesting Kaz.
The main reason why we have a lot of "Full On", is because a lot of labels release "Full On".
If "Full On" would not sell good, I think labels would stop release it in a big quantities. As I understand there are no big sells in Israel. So, it looks like the main market for Israel "Full On" is outside of Israel, mainly in Europe.

So, what we have ? "Full On" fans in Europe influence on what is happening in Israel Trance parties !!!

P.S. May be I've smoked too much ?
