It's fair to sample Indian Sacred Chants for psy tunes?

many have done it (hindu, muslim and other religions' chants) and i think it's ok because i'm not religious at all.
BUT stupid thing is when you enjoy sampling such chants or listening them at parties, and then get offended if someone samples your religion's chants.

don't think they would feel offended ...
since it shows interest for that way of thinking.
you know the effect, when you're in some foreign country
and hear voice samples in your mother's tongue? http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject |

So many things in this world that is unfair and idiotic, stupid and crazy and evil...
This is not one of those things... its great if you find some nice chants that makes you feel good and adds to the spirit of the track... one thing though is that you know what the chant is about... its always good to know what you put in the track..

It's ok to use IMO, coz when it comes to religion, there is no profitability involved, I mean thats how its supposed to be , hence just mentioning the source of the chants in the credits should serve its purpose.
If you intend to specifically use Krishna Chants in your tracks, I'd suggest you to hear SRi Hari's album http://www.discogs.com/Sri-Hari-Rising-Sign/release/238797 |

I think it has been done to death. Fair but pretty generic IMO.
