I'm really just starting to take a real interest in psychedelic trance, stuff with a little more crunch usually being to my tastes (I play acid techno). I've got a couple of bits by IM and a few bits by Plastyk Elephant (I think) which is excellent apart from a couple of terrible samples, so as you can see I'm a bit of a baby as far as this music goes. Any pointers/recommendations would be much appreciated... Thanx. |

I don't want to scare you off. Here are a couple of nice ones to start off with. Track a couple of these down and then tell us what you liked so we know in which direction to send you (and where to buy them from)

Thanx for the help Apocalypse Now... will try these when I've got some spare cash. I had a Hallucinogen LP years ago, remember quite liking it, but sold it when short of cash (along with many others I now mourn the loss of!)

some nice psy with a crunchy edge? sure, we got planty. try some of the new stuff, as well as the stuff Apocalypse recomended. try the Think Sync Compilation (On Com.pact rec), which is a very good showcase of that style.

This forum can be very helpfull to you, use the search engine and you'll find everything you need.
The right direction is enjoy psytrance respecting everyone around you.
Try stuff from Sesto Sesto and Sub6 for example.
