Making music is the main part of my life,
but i think I can't make music in all of my free
time, I guess I should be in the right mood,
If i am not in the right mood my music will
be lame, what about you?
Are your ideas depends on your mood? |

hehe it is true but sometimes if I am in a really baaaad mood then I quite enjoy writing stuff.... but I would be more likely to start something new rather than ruining an old project!
and of course on the other hand: writing good music often puts you into a good mood..... |

i escape through music so it doesent realy depends what mood i have.
the music is my mood reflection!
there are sometimes moods when i dont wanna do anything...

a musical idea can be a derivative of your mood. on the other hand, i don't belive GMS are allways squeaky and happy, as their tracks suggest...

it just we tried it once in the studio without grass
and it was poor  |

i usuelly don't write under the influence. the Accurate sound work is denied while smoking. sure, it sounds great, but if you want it to sound great when your not stoned, you'd better be sober, imo. but, it's a subjectivity - some write better when they are stoned.

don`t forget that if you wanna get really
serious with your music you have to work
alot even if your "mood" don`t suite you
for writing..
a lot of producing a track its pure work on the mix , breaks `n stuff and not only
creativity!

I think I agree with Jason here...
The mood is really important, From my experience,
If the mood is wrong something in my track
won't be right...
Weed...defently not the reason for my mood!
Drugs and trance are not related to each other,
Maskalin and shrooms on the other hand may
be having some effect on music:)

to deal with my creation... i give up very quickly as usual..

I tried to produce some music without smokin', and
it works for stuff like programing keygroups
in sampler , synth patches, mostly technical stuff
that takes time and i need to be very focused on .
So , when i go to arrange my sounds into a track
i'm smokin' a lot and it works great for me .
(Drugs and trance are not related to each other)

Is this thread some kind of an exuse for not making music?
because I'm not in the mood for a looong time - and I still don't think this is goodz at all. No matter what explanation you'll have.

no one forces us to make music, you know philip , it is a hobby for many of us here (except the artists)
