Hurts deep.
An analysis.
India is meddling in a war which is not its. And paying for it. To progress one certainly has to make sacrifices, but taking on someone far more bigger and determined than you is so foolish.
Dancefloor education.
My heart goes out to Moshe, and all the bereaved. The Indian operation could be better, but we are a poor country. Despite all the emergence of the East talk, reality is different, and anyone who has travelled to India will understand.
Its also not about political will, as has been made out. Heads have rolled (they would anywhere), but we all know that's all a country with no options can do.
To say we brought this upon us is not fair either. India 'never' sent troops to any country to fight. Yes, we have 8,000 UN peacekeeping troops, but they are not for combat.
India built the Afghanistan parliament, and is among the biggest donors to development there. We are perhaps reaching out too far, too soon.
