SYMPTOMS
You use a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) capture program on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer. The computer has a dual-core or hyper-threading processor. However, the MIDI capture program does not work correctly. Specifically, the MIDI data is corrupted.

hmmm....

what the hell is a "midi capture program"??

Cubase?

I guess so... hmm I have to look into that... my ESI M8U uses the original windows drivers, and I have dualcore.           Most of my music for you to download at:

i've noticed some weird shit going on with my dualcore setup - sometimes synths will drop out of key.

as in the whole vsti will be a few notes flat...

but once i reload the project it's usually ok. very strange.
