Issue with hardware and Fl 5

Does anyone know why Fl 5 does'nt recognize the knobtweaks from my virus? It only records the keyboard playing. It's something with Fl because i've tried it on cubase and it worked grand. |

fl5 wont do that i think , its sucks .......

you must be joking ...
Of course FL can do that ... all the assignable knobs of my bassstation work like a charm with FL - can't say the same about my midi controller though - some of the knobs/sliders aren't regognised but that happens with some other progs too (traktor).
Don't know what is the problem and i'd be glad to know and fix it ... so if someone knows ... help

wavelogix - u dont have a clue ..
now.. no problems what so ever with doing that.
tiny problem - u never said if u use rack or keys version.. i treat it as rack.
connect the virus midi in to midi out of computer so it get the midi notes (like pitch ,length ,velocity).
now i connect midi out of the midi keyboard (or back to the synth - but then better disable its knobs from controling the sound) to the midi in of the computer, to control evry parameter u want in fl.
when working treat the synth as vst.
that means that u need to assign the knob u wanna tweak with the one in midi out channel preset - virus to the controler,and simply record,the presets there help to know (or actuly dont even need to know it exist)the number of each parameter - btw cubase i never saw those kind of presets which seems weird and not helpfull.. c'mon now.. try to look in list evry time? seems that or i or they missed something,btw for discovery1 u can use preset nordlead2 
ohh yes.. first check that midi out channel realy contol the parameters of the synth (cutoff resonance etc)or your preferences not set right in fl or virus.

Yes, I realised that there's identical knobs in the midi out which i have to assign. It works. Thanks anyways |
