Hello all ppl whose brains are infected with the virus,
Just curious as to how many of you log on to IsraTrance from your workplace? Work (in the 'normal' sense), especially when working for some big corporation, can be super boring, and for me Isratrance is a kind of escape from the monotony of sitting at a desk for 8-9 hours a day. So now, I usually spend about an hour a day (at work) cruising through the various threads and putting in my 2 cents. Some people think it's purely a waste of time (and I agree to a certain extent), however, atleast it makes my work day shorter by an hour!!
Let's hear your work stories!
----------------------------------------
"What if I told you 'insane' was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn’t you consider that to be 'insane?'" |

Work stories?
(Don’t know whether I should tell you this, but here goes...)
I work on the sixth floor at a major corporation in England, in an office, in front of a computer with my own desk and plant
I find my colleagues okay and we put up with each other thru professional courtesy and mutual boredom. This makes the atmosphere veery relaxed and I find myself quickly drifting into the realms of ISRATRANCE (thank you isratrance!). And as long as my work is done, no-one really cares what I do with the rest of my time.
However, before I discovered isratrance I was socializing with colleagues and one thing I got myself into was dealing Viagra for a girl (will remain anonymous) who visited GOA every year for NYE. The pills she brought back were called 'ANDROX' and were legal due to the fact that they didn’t have VIAGRA on the packaging - and me being of club element, made it easy to sell these little beauties - and make a fair profit on the side
One day a friend (on the fourth floor) asked me if I’d taken one - which I hadn't and me being a virile young man, I didn’t need to.
So I ate half during my lunch break.
All was well until I noticed something was not quite right- my head felt dizzy and my knees a little wobbly - I went to the toilet thinking I was gona spew
Man, the second I got up it must have circulated "THE BEAST" and I got the fright of my life...have never seen my "LITTLE FELLA" like that before
I didn’t want to leave the toilet coz I couldn’t walk straight, so I had to phone my friend on the 4th floor to help me out of the building...
It took about 30mins for the effect to subside and my "little fella" to return to half mast.
As a direct result I nearly got fired from my job for leaving my desk, just at those times when it all kicked off and I was needed (f**king typical).
I stopped dealing ANDROX and socialising with colleagues and now I’m here!
Ahhh I feel better now… This is like therapy!!
<<(Thank you isratrance!)>>
It is by will alone I set my mind in
motion.
It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts
acquire speed -
The lips acquire stains -
The stains become a warning - blah, blah , blah! |

the main difference between me and epsilon is, that my work is never done
there's always work and stress in my company, as we are a pretty small company, 11 people, but we are working as 22 people at least.
therefore, no internet for me while working...if i got my stuff done and got some "free" time i do all the things i've never had time to do before.

I've even checked Isratrance on someone's laptop which was running on a wireless internet connection while we were shooting part of a film in a forest. if the director saw me I'd probably get fired (and then have even more time to be on the forum)

Tried to surf from work and was denied by the firewall.
Lucky for me i guess, i wouldn't work at all if the firewall wouldn't stop me.
Everyone in the world is doing something without me |
