i must say to u something you maybe won't like.
your username/password pair can be fetched via the following channels:
1) you wrote down it with the address of the forum, and somebody has found the paper.
[almost impossible.]
2) you use windoz OS and the username/password is somewhere there in your computer, so if some1 compromised your windoz without your notice [email worm e.g. or something more intelligent]
he/she could get all your cookies + stored unames passwords
3)
a)you use this username/password not only in this forum.
b)your user/pass were easily guessible.
4) your phoneline/ cable line [depends on your connection] is eavesdropped/sniffed by CIA/FBI/evil craxorz.
5) ALL OF the ABOVE.
6) this is a board's security flaw.
Opensourced soft is more secure. and this is a fact, people.
and windoz is so unsecure that to secure it is like trying to "carry water in sieve".
so if you're online with windoz, "expect the unexpected" etc.
sorry.

i can't suggest helping u, cause i don't know you personally [maybe u make it all up to make a fuzz and draw attention to the name ... i can't tell - no offends], but i know personally some of the ppl here in the board.

then gets a phone from say anonymous "benefactor" [B] with "i know that guy's number and he is a prick [C], don't mess with him, he has trouble with police"
and then he[A] decides to try to save his name with
the post of 18:01:20
......
so what is the real reason for all this ???

i know the truth is somewhere out there.

:) sorry, had to do it.
Btw: Tal, im really curios about the diffrent usernames, i mean, i can understand why diffrent artsists use diffrent names like simon P uses Hallucinogen for his Psy project and Celtic Cross for ambient. However i dont understand why would someone use two diffrent usernames in one forum unless he has a double personality =). Anyways, if you ask me, although ure to do whats on ur mind, one should use only one username in order for everyone to knowunderstand whos speaking and connect it to hishers background or whatever.
