Its sad that just because only a few users want to spout bollocks (they are free to do so) and make a point in a insulting manner, that the mods locked the other thread.
It was going fine, all the mods needed to do, was act like mods and clear off the insults, PM the hotheads to chill and post in a nicer manner and we could carry on talking about the issue.
If people don't want to read ONE political thread, do NOT click on that ONE political thread. Its not like it is in our face and you can't avoid clicking on it.
Too bad ther was a decent thread was going on for a change and it had to be closed for two idiots. Go open another thread about the best hi-hat, or drug and who is the real trancer and who has the best high, who is really a shaman or a 10+ page bullsh!t thread about X-Noise and whether they ripped off a tune (who gives a flying fu*k anyway?) and make isratrance a place to "escape from the real world". Nice attitude!

I would also like to give some user feedback.
You should have simply cleared up the mess. Delete a few insults and keep the conversation going. If you really want to help out, you should have kept the thread so people can read about the things that are happening/have happened in the past. It was a healthy discussion until a couple of user thought they'd let us know they are a bnch of fuck!ng idiots.
Take their comments out and the thread was not pro/anti israeli/palestinian. People simply expressed their views and the end result was that it is no one's fault for what is happening and that people should not believe the media.
The neutral users of this forum with half a brain would understand a bit more about this burning issue. But by locking it, its like you have something to hide. I am not saying you do, because, like I said its is NOT the israeli's or the palestinian's fault. The reason this sh!t is happening is because people are uninformed and uneducated. But you chose to lock it. You chose to not want to be part of the solution, but be part of the problem, which ultimately is missinformation.

Yes, i absolutly agree with you.
And it is unlocked again, some posts are deleted. I can understand this, coz they went a bit offtopic, even if they were very informative and part of the whole situation. But we need to stay precise focused on the topic, even if this would need to get a further/greater view over the world situation.
I think it is a good decision to unlock it, but before lock next time try to think about if u really want to lock this threat and why u lock it. Coz by unlocking it u made an exception in the rule of no politics for this threat, which is worth it.

First of all I have no intention to take part in that political topic.
I talked with ppl from Israel's enemy countries many times on icq and many times with ppl/friends on real life.
So why the hell I need it here? This is forum about music! Why everything got to be with Trance? Trance is not the hippie generation of the 60's. there are no festivals for peace.
Again; politics is being talked 2 many times. And here, Clean place with music, should it be here? imho no. I took a part in the topc about gays and I'm sorry for that. I learned my lesson.

i have to agree, i think this topic is unnecessary...
dont we have enough of this shit in our everyday life? TV/news papers/radio....
why do you have to bring this stuff here?the only place that was free of this bullshit.
i dont argue/discuss politics with ppl in real life and im sure not gonna start to in here...

Second, sorry guys but some of the stuff you call bullshit IS real life. A lot of these things have to do with the way we feel about thigs in general, including trance. Honestly you have to admit that there are barely any political threads on here. Its not hard to avoid them by not clicking.
The thing is though, that if you let this one stay, people will read about things, get informed and then they will not open another one, saying "I think the israelis/palestinians are such and such, because they did this and that".
You know, its supposed to be a grown up site and some people are curious to find out first hand from their fellow forumites that are in the region and come closer to a more substantiated opinion about what the hel is actually going on.
If I thought that this place is full of one sided morons I would not have minded. But it is the israelis that are not so close minded that will help educate people. And the next time someone will open a similar thread, you can tell them to use the search and read a thread that will be (hopefully) free of insults and aggressiveness and simply tell another side of the story.

Dunno, I've been taking part in alot of discussions about the issue. The problem is that 99.9% of the ppl I was talking to are building their opinion on the "facts" they saw on TV.
And if I say smth that contradicts those "facts", I am "extremist, brainwashed by Israeli propoganda..."
How lame is that ?
