nice to see movement about this !!
come on waiting for the kick/bassline combo(combos... i will need not just 1 bassline but 3-4 for variation maybe cos i will have to make the perc/drum groove accordingly to the bassline variations)
my sounds are warm and ready to be grooved to the best kick/bass combo u guys will made!
some tech info now!
mostly for colin it looks hes gonna mix the sounds!
i will export 32bit 48khz dry loops of the groove and also 32bit 48khz wet loops(eq, reverbs, distortions... etc)
for convenience i can export the dry loops in 16bit 44khz as they would take half space and leave the wet loops in 32/48 for optimum sound quality!
what u think?

I think I'm gonna wait too, until we get descent basslines to start to work with.
Who is doing it? I think more than one should start to work on them.
We can all vote the best lines and start from there.
tsabeat, cant download your bass try at the moment. I hope it'll work later on. |

stuck up a pad progression with audio, and a midi file too for perusal. Probably more of an intro or breakdown thing then an in tune moment.
Zebra2 and Massive at play!

ok i did a first or whatever groove on my laptop on the first bassline!
sorry for the bad quality of the sample but im on vacations and i use a dial up connection so i not on the studio so maybe the quality of the overall loop isnt good(im on some shity headfones) ill be in the studio in the weekend to make it "perfect"
hope fits the style! but i would like some better rolling basslines its fine for a first glimpse of what we can do all together!

BTW.
I thin the pad progression is a good beginning and the sitar-g-minor in the aliasaccoustic rar would be a good first theme to build on.
As for the basslines that are around (seppa, atropa and tuk) I think there are nice patterns and could be used. of course then with separate track or midi.
Maybe some should vote for their favourites? Most of my music for you to download at:

Nice one sub !
Good initiative. I agree 100% I love the sitar stuff in g minor. also the tuk bass lines is good I don't like the kick but the pattern is nice especially the last one.
Everyone don't forget to include midi for variations for the bass
I didnt upload anything yet but will soon |

hi!
you all right!
its g minor in western term!... GM,Gmin, Gminor.....
Sol ....phrygian major mode!
sub and seppa....i dont agree with you guys.....its important to follow after bass ...not in those acoustic melodies
in my opinion.....the bass/kick....its great start to follow(ofcouse....its just guide lines ...not the final version)
i didnt check yet the tuk bass....but with tsabeat melodic bassline .....the sky is the limit!
you can make lots of melodies n'stuff!
take it easy!....
