Hey guys what an awesome idea 
Is it finished now? If not are there any sounds still required? Are you still accepting sounds etc.
I will now go listen to everythign on the ftp :)

i dont think using same samples twice is vital. maybe that's not too bad, but i believe everybody can avoid it.

So u agree that is not bad, thats fine.. Im just saying that for example, I made that awesome sound while ago but the track I used it in sucked bad and why should I waste such a good sound.. U can always transform it and develop it to something new in order to improve your style.. I mean sometimes simply coping it is a bad idea but sometime that can be your signature sample.. I mean you cant say that u have style if u are always doing something completely different, and it doesn't have to be better also simply cause its different.. The point is that u should improve your style and focus on one point, not going on from here to there dispersing your mind..
sometimes artists tend to slave their style to commercial streams or create something different and a lot of times it happens that they screw up in the end.. Many famous artist had good albums but they wanted to evolve and they messed it all up.. that is not the point of evolution. The point is to select and perfect one thing which is already good, to make it better until its perfect.. And if u are always selecting something different than u will never perfect your style.. U will never be recognized.. Psy trance theses days is just that.. It doesn't have as many recognized artists like it had before.. Its just all mush now, everything mixed up in a soup..

I agree with you on this part.. Its hard to keep up lately with the influx of so much new stuff!! It is quite disheartening for me!
Please feel free to comment on this next statement but in some parts it "ALMOST" feels to me that psytrance is the new "club house" and well crafted undergroundish "elektro" is the new psytrance

Yeah you could call it club house, even some cheesy hard trance sounds better than copied mush.. But yeah, there are lot of creative artists still, you just got to dig deep.. Investigate new territories.. Undergroundish "electro" is cool, or like someone calls it electro-psytrance cross-over.. Whatever..

no actually i don't agree its fine. its not fine, i think everyone should avoid repeating.

right but i'm talking about well done, released (or live-ready) production. sure noone wants to loose good sounds, but this isnt a good idea to copy yourself.

so what? nothing special about it. everything's evolving. 10-15 years ago there was no such opportunities to express yourself whether it is music, design or any computer-related art. does it confuse you? okay then jst imagine what there will be in 10-15 years! its not about psytrance, its about evolving, mate.
