dude, there is such a huge difference between writing "i think this is shit..." in a REVIEW thread and "this album is complete SHIT man, i cant stand listening to it" etc. the first one is an opinion, the second one is degrading the work of the musician (maybe one did note mean to do so, but wrote it like one were...). and then it depends on the mod, the context etc..

Sorry man but there is not a HUGE difference, it's a small one, and with all the respect i don't need to write "in my opinion" every time i critisize thing because it's already understood, i can't talk in the name of no one else. And if i want to say "this album is complete SHIT man, i cant stand listening to it" i have the same right to say it as anyone else that says "this album is complete masterpiece, i can't stop listening to it".

about criticism: as I see it there are 3 ways:
1. Good one
a. Honest
b. ass licking.
===
2. Bad one
a. Honest, disappointment
b. Vendetta, something personal against

3. In between
Since lately me job is to review Trance albums for an well known Israeli web site - honesty is the key word. If I get a bad album in my opinion I cant allow myself to write a good review about it. I will write a bad but with a balance.
about here in the forum I usually do not criticize bad albums, but if there is a big disappointment from one I will but not in a harsh way - I will give my bad honest opinion and yes sometimes I want to say bad words about an album - because there is an annoying music.
Bottom line: this isn't a promotional forum. Bad criticism should be dun and should be appreciated as much as good criticism.
About ass liking: its for kids.

i always clean my inbox from posts after i read them, if i knew that time i would be asked to give an example i wouldn't delete it.

I know I was not the only one not to recieve messages from Arafela
The last time I polite asked for an explanation in private to a mod about why he had deleted a non insulting post of mine i got this answer (I saved it so dont say I am lying):
F*** off.
Far from a polite answer I see some mods tell the users they will always get if they contact them in private. Maybe that's why some members decide to take it out in the open?

thats why i wrote it depends on the context. just wanted so say that sometimes also a small difference gives a real different colouring to your post in the context, when not looked at alone. misunderstandings happen all the time.

This forum is public, and like a judge can't use his stand of power for doing what he wants to in his court so does the moderators have no right. If thats what they want they should open a privet forum that contains all of their friends and their ass licking kids. Until then, POWER TO THE PEOPLE

i'd given up before, but just let me add this. it is impossible to discuss such an issue when the only arguement you have is that some users lick moderators ass. this is not an arguement even. this is so fucking childish i'm getting a lil bit more nuts with everytime i read it.
and just for the record, maybe you did not notice that i am a mod too. so you can advice me directly to open my own forum for my kiddo ass licking friends. why should i take you seriously (i did until now) when you talk to me like this?

the issue here wasn't only the ass licking kids, though it also an issue cause you can see it almost on every topic here. another issue was moderators deleting posts unjusticlly while other posts which are more offensive and off topics aren't being deleted just cause the member know the mod or for any other reason which doesn't matter, what matter is the fact. as i already said in one case when me and other users were insulting eachother and my posts were deleted while the other's weren't.
another issue was the spamming of one word post like "killer" or a smiley while critisise posts which took time to think about for the writer were also deleted just cause they were bad critisise.
and i didn't notice you were a moderator, yet it doesn't change my opinion. maybe you personnaly aren't but some mods think of themselves too much and act like some fucking kids on chatrooms that feel like dumping from the room they opened everyone who doesn't agree with them, so don't tell me i got a childish behavior just cause i'm one of fews here which take stand and say what trully this forum turned to be.

How can you compare between deleting harmless "killer" or smiley posts and deleting offending posts?!
I'm not a moderator, but i'm pretty sure that some of your replies have been deleted beacuse of the way you reply; It looks like you choose to spice up your posts with a few curses here and there, or just insult other members with no reason, just like you did here when mentioning Mia Walles even though she has nothing to do with this thread (btw, it's called Slandering).

Believe me, i Don't like the useless "Killer"/ Smiley posts either, but they don't bother me as much as posts which unnecessarily harm other members here.
