how could i give you an example if they all were deleted? and i'm not talking about locking a thread, i won't care if this one will be locked soon as long as ppl could read what i say about this forum, i'm talking about deleting some posts in a thread (not the whole thread) just cause the "objective" moderators wanted to.

oh okay, sorry then. well, nothing to add in that case. cause i can't support nor totally fight your accusations. that's the result, some read it some didn't, some replied seriously, some didn't at all and some replied with jokes because they are used to those threads after being member here for more than 1000 posts  i just hope that, in the end, between all the fuss, the originator(s) of your angry know about their luck too.

maybe you never had a post that was deleted injusticlly, but i'm sure a lot of users have, one of them even respond in the first page, i wouldn't complain about it if it wasn't true, plus don't tell me it's not annoying to see on every thread on the parties and music sections hundreds of posts with only a smiley or the word killer

If you think a moderator locked / deleted / moved your post or thread unjustly, contact that mod in private, by PM. I am sure that any mod here will answer you politely why the action was done. Notice that mods can't do an action without specifying the reason for it in the PM you get, so please read that PM first.
However, if you are still not convinced, and there's no doubt in your mind that you are right, feel free to contact any of the supermods / admins of this forum in private, by PM.

but sometimes it can be very annoying if there is an interesting topic, that one want to participate an learn and discuss some matters..we need to be serious from time to time...i know it is hard,but we can make it if we try h

Well Oran, tell me how exaclly will it help me to complain to a moderator AFTER he already deleted the post? the wheel can't be turned backwards. and my topic also speaking of the spamming by all the kids with infinity posts of smiley and only one word, why didn't you respond on that matter? is it ok to delete a post which i dedicated lots of thoughts about it only because i used the word "fuck" of "shit" in it but when you see duzens of pages that most of them includes only one word a post or a fucking smiley shouldn't it be deleted? where is your rules about spamming?

the only asslicking is when someone writes those "kiilaaargh super trillah shanti baba lsd wicked ohm" remarks. exxagaration is the assliking.
maybe the post will not be removed after you msg? the whell can be turned here, i guess there is some kind of delete history or stuff like that.

No offense at all Oran but those times I complained in private to a mod for a unjust deleting of a post of mine (while other post 10 times worse was allowed to stay) I got very stubborn "we do no mistakes" answers and in a few cases direct rude and personal insulting answers. Maybe it's improved since then here. I would not be able to say. But my experience tell me that it's a waste of time to complain in most forums. The mods are always right

Indeed it's a waste of time. Like a mod going to confest his mistake, cause how can he be mistaken if he thinks he's right. And Oran again you pay attention only to this matter and ignore the spamming one.

@suomi guy, belive me i "like" those posts as much as you are. i even suggested once at the mods section to put the party promo section at the same mode as the 2nd hand section since 95% of the posts in that section are a total waste of server space..but i guess this post are not against the guidelines so theres not much to do about it...
@TrippyJohnny, the fact that most users cant follow your countless bans and different nicks on almost every online forum doesent give you the right the play the poor victim role

so put on your guidelines some rules about spamming, how can you tolerate this shit? and when ppl like me getting harsh on those bastards the posts get deleted.

^^ my two cents: nobody is perfect, and we all make mistakes.
But i am sure everys single mod who deletes a post or a thread, or locks it, would rather don´t do it (or so i think) - we do it because the users "force" us to do it - we all know a lot of users who are rude, impolite and do not know how to behave or say/write things.
i do not know which are the posts that were deleted, or locked, it would be very nice to see some links, so i could figure it out.
one thing i won´t tolerate while i´m in charge of my sections is ofensive language, most of the times my erasing or locking options are based on that, but not exclusevly.Of course it is my sight, and i have never denied an explanation to any user.
but, 4 example the trance section, the main section, has a lot of users..maybe the biggest section of the forum, and everybody has their vision, of how things should be.but nobody owns the ultimate truth - that is why sometimes exists a clash of opinions, and sometimes people in order to expose their opinion, or become rude, or go sarcastic, ironic to get on the "nerves" of the other users.
so getting this conclusions why not speak with the supermods, mods when you don´t think things are not right like this?the forum is also "yours", so why not contribute in a positive way?
ps: the licking part is on the promotional releases section (j/k) - but not all is licking - sometimes people give their honest opinion, about enjoying or hating a release without being rude - what happens is that the others are not ready to listen.

Not really a ok answer. I was in no way out of line here or trying to fight with you and I made sure to tell you I was not pointing fingers at you or trying to blame you (The no offense).
Look at some of the other posts here. The topic starter - no offense again. I can see a few of his posts way more out of line than mine. Think about that for a minute please.
Is it so hard for you to be nice for a change? I do not know you in real life and you certantly do not know me. I doubt you would speak to me like this in real life for the simple reason that you as most other normal polite people would treat other people with much more respect when facing them. So lets keep it with a little respect ok? I am not here to fight with you and I do not point fingers at you. I just debate as everybody else do.
But it should be ok to debate the moderators roles too. I can not understand why a moderator would not like to listen to constructive critisism.
And if you for a minute would throw away your stereotype opinion about who I am and how I am as a person (you really got no clue about my person) you might see something else in my posts than what you choose to see.
The fact remain that some mods here and on other forums are very stubborn when they get critisised. And some take the critisism way too personal instead of looking at it as a member complaining over a wrong doing.
I am 100% sure I am not the only one that have experienced the "oh no another complaint" answer when asking why a post was deleted. I can certantly uderstand it can become annoying to have to deal with people's complaints. Especially if it's the same complaints over and over again. But thats part of being a mod.

first of all it's very hard to give you an example of deleted posts since they were already deleted. But i remember one time when me and other users were insulting eachother, so ok this should have defenatly be erased, but i was amazed to see that only my posts were deleted and the other's weren't. now that's also connected to licking and non-objective behaviors by the mods.
Second thing, there is nothing wrong with sarcastic and ironic posts, sometimes they are even needed so you can express your opinion in not such a polite way but not such rude eather. Ofcourse when it come to curses and insulting it needs to be deleted there is no argument about it.
But why ppl can say for example on some cd that it's "the best ever" (most of those are licking-ass posts though not all of them ofcourse), but i can't say on the same album that it's SHIT, and not cause i want to insult, just cause this is my opinion, i don't want to use the word "bad" cause i think it's SHIT which is much more than "bad". because it's a bad word? why don't you put a rule against the word "Best" too? cause if it's positive it's ok to say it but when it comes to negative it's wrong? and don't tell me ppl can be offended from this word, only the artist himself can be cause it's his work, and if he does get offended he's a real stupid man and he shouldn't read it, but i still should have the right to call it shit, cause that's my opinion even if it criticise for the bad side. How can this forum pretend of letting ppl express their opinions if you only allow the good words to stay and deny the bad ones?
