This site has been quite anti-full on and the others sub genres have an equal number of followers IMHO.

If you look for example de dj/artist section must of the ones asked for are dark.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

I see dark very heavily represented in the forum. For instance check out the Review-section, where there are lots of reviews of dark psy, as well as the Promotional Releases section where dark psy is promoted quite extensively.

Actually lots of genres are represented here - from techno and progressive to full on, chillout and even suomi and goa. One of the strong points about this forum in my opinion.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I thought whatever you decide to play in the morning is synonymous with morning.

Agree with Pr0fane - darkpsy is represented here quite heavily.

I'd say there are more darkpsy fans in discussions but more prog producers. So, a typical discussion looks like this:

Prog Producer 1: darkpsy sux
Darkpsy Fan 1: No, it's great, haven't you heard the latest by Psykovsky?!
Darkpsy Fan 2: Yeah, and Enichkin!
Darkpsy Fan 3: Killarghhh!!!!
Prog Producer2: My bass lines are the coolest in the world, darkpsy bass doesn't even come close to my super-coolness.
Darkpsy Fan 3: Who cares?! Haven't you seen the new Andychrist's movie? You can have a cool bass at 1200 BPM!!!
Prog Producer 3: No, you can't...
...Etc.

I think the optimal BPM for dark psy nowadays is 666. I might be wrong though           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Times are changing, Melodic Progressive and melodic fullon are speaking to more people!

But if things are as they should a new batch of forest creators are working their mojo behind closed doors.

My self i am focusing more on melodic stuff, But i will try and keep my forest side alive and kicking, But creating music is to me more about what i need at the time to feel good.

There are still a lot of dark stuff, but i never really liked the real dark annoying style, I like more intelligent dark or forest and suomi funk...

What i like the most is stuff like this
