Well i remember a suggestion about a isratrance comp. i mean there loads of people with connections and we have LOTS of talents in here. But THE BIG problem is someone who can put some effort into this, and of course we need MONEY to pull this thing together. I would be glad to work with this 100% but i dont realy know the drill about compiling a cd and find distributers and all of that. i mean this would be a great thing to do. Any one who knows how this works and if its possihble? well if someone is intrested just post here and we can go to the next step later. just wanna know if its possible.... Think about it... cool thing imo

ya well it could become a sequel if it went well jason and detox i am for sure a financial recource if i will be needed. i am not rich but i could spare some cash to! any labels intrestetd in this idea?!?!? compilers?!?! artists? anyone?

Everybodys contribution is welcome.
If we have so many artists in here then an isratrance compilation sounds like a very very good idea to me,it will sell good also and we could make something like a sequel if everything runs smoothly.I know talking is easy but it sounds pretty good to me and i am willing to take any risk if there is something going to happen.
I think Shahar is the man that needs to speak some wise words here as the founder of this site :)

I dunno how I can help but im willing to. this is a wonferful idea.
It'll be nice to make a contest like Psynews but that wouldn't be original, any other ideas how to choose who will be on the comp? |

I don't see it as a competition or for someone to make a decision. i think it should be decided by a majority.. like in a poll or a survey or somthing. |

my thoughts about this nice idea:
first of all we must agree and understand that it will not be good commerzial step. many reasons for it.. main one is that unknown artists dont have market here in israel.. and distributed companies just dont like have a deal with this kind of projects..
second is that i see big problemm in make a choice between more than 15 artists then we can put not more 9 trax...
in global make this dream true not so hard..
we need: (all the components is for maximal free of big money product making)
free graphic (im sure we have more than one)
8-9 good trax
money for make 1000-2000 copies (its about 6-7 nis = 1.5$ per one then u make 1000-1500 copies).
connection with distributer company ( i have good connection with mdma). distributing here(in israel) is promise but not commerzial for sure..
distributing in other countys is question that i can make clear tommorow..
digital mastering before - i dont know where and its cost not so litlle money... somebody ??? ( but i mean professional only)...
so, conclussions is:
1.1500-2000$ is the minimum for a idea.
2.big problem about choose the trax/artists, becoze i understand that everybody want put his own trak there..
all other is technical details that this kind of shit i do at my work. |

well its a nice thought, but..
1. Who is willing to put the time and effort into this project?
2. 9 traxx is the deal but there is too many artists here, and making a competition will not display all the talent.
3. overall i think, as much of a dream as it sound:), its better at this present time to shelve this project..
