Yes babag, deffentily joining forces is necessary. I just say, that right now (following 3-4 weeks) is a bad time for me. But that is one reason, why I suggested beginning of 2013 as a date. I am moving just in Germany, but have to change my whole life nevertheless.
Vector_0: I am not sure, if organising a party in a normal location is the same. But it is deffenitly easier. But since there allready was the decision of doing it on the Canarians, I see no reason right now, to not follow this decision and see, if it is possible. If it is not possible, we can think about other possibilities. |

i got a very promising answer from gomera.
as for some health issue of my wife i have no time at the moment to go into all details - but will post them here - so for us all to decide - hopefully by end of next week.

Just wanted to let you know, that the reason for my inactivity is, that I have no internet conncetion after my move (will take some time). Also I am utterly stressed because of my new job in wind energy business. So, I am not sure, if and how much I can participate, since right now I just fall in my bed after having fnished all duties. I hope, that this will change soon. |

ok guys of we go - the most important infos/requests @ a glance - this from gomera:
- when? possible dates?
- only forum users or with guests - max. being 200people
- how long shall it take? how many days 2 or 3?
- technical equipment needed
- catering & stay
- financial question: payment for technical equipment and so on - fundraising?
- possibilities of different locations are there - but they need to know how many people about
after we have all this we could also invite other artists which are here in the forum - if they wanna come - like master margherita, asura, maux, and the rest of the forumgang...

as for my opinion - we will need to know on how that
gathering will be looking and who will participate - as for now the biggest interest is coming from gunter, psygalaxy and myself - not enough for forum gathering - so let's see if there are more outhere - up for really doing it.
february sounds very good to me - the rest we check when we know the participants - we have the place now - and it will happen in gomera - we onle have to make it happen!

Ok, I am back in the internet world. 
It`s sad to read, that there has been so little response, yet.
Nevertheless, I just saw a very friendly pm of Psygalaxy, who also wants to organise the happening. So it is not, that there is nobody. Everything is doable.
Bot, of course, I respect your decision very much, babag. Also, tbh, I am not sure, when I will be able to get holidays next year. I am in the first months of a new job and maybe I won`t get the holidays, when I want to get them

thanks for your understanding - you know i can't really use those contacts on gomera and then nothing happens or it is something really, really familiar. the time and effort would be too big.
...and for me i got my restaurant going & 2 other companies and also some big clubevents in winter time. sorry - maybe another time.
i know there is psygalaxy to and a very nice guy indeed - but still it's not enough if we talk gomera and checking the expenses.
but hey i wish you lick with all this and if really something serious is getting into shape i might re-consider...

Love that picture Babag. The prayer flag at the top evokes lovely party memories. Makes me want to be there then, but right now....
re the gathering, it's a mythos for me I'm afraid. Between work and family, trying to get to Europe/Gomera from Australia ain't going to happen in the next 12 months. Looks like a fantastic spot though.
I'm hoping to get to Europe at some stage, on one of the years when Boom is on.
