Xhip,synth 1,predator,Massive,Imposcar ?
a freeware is a good idea so everyone can make some patchs,i choose xhip(and massive if a lot have it) |

i wouldnt like z3ta or albino beacuse not all of us are experts, specially with modulation matrix., predator should be a good choice and freeware synth 1 or xhip., the best is to start some vote and from there we should starts sharing presets to finish a 128 isratrance bank!!! |

if needed my vote would be: albino. but why focus on one synth? a couple of psy-oriented presets from this and that will also be nice. do what u like, no need to wait for instructions telling you what synth to use for this. |

i think the idea was an isratrance bank, focused on one synth if everybody want a different synth then theres no point for this thread and lets all continue making pathces of owr own and for personal use with wathever synths u use and foget this thread.
The idea was to contribute not argue. |

It make more sense to work on a freeware synth like its been said before.
I think synth 1 is a good synth.
its really about voting between those that are really willing to do it, in other words the skilled ones, and start !
or for example Atropa you could just start a thread with the name isratrance synth1 or pentagon bank plz join !
someone has to take the initiative and manage the project otherwise it ll be just talks. |

i see many people want they favourite to be included for patch making so a poll is i think the most appropriate in 10 days the most wanted will resolt in the synth that most use!
im the first to make my patches for it!
and i hope all will follow to make some outstanding sounds for them!
its a democratic procedure for everyone to be happy!
people choose the synth and then all can focus on making the sounds!

i'm sure the world needs more synth1 banks 
anyway, regardless xhip isnt ready to have banks made. if you make a bank it will not load in the next version i release.
previously i had been manging a simple document on the xhip site which said something similar to:
"in it's current state xhip saves patches with a null version. this means that patches are saved in a raw state which will not be compatible between versions. this is standard practice for all revision and alpha versions. only beta versions can save compatible patches or banks. please do not attempt to create patch libraries at this point in time."
a simplified version of my todo:

- update synth internals to allow new patch format
- create new patch format and test it
- event routing system (complex modulations system)
- update gui with event routing and pcm editing pages
- add support for vst "chunks" to allow project compatibility between versions
- PATCH FORMAT BECOMES STABLE HERE
even once i reach the "patch format becomes stable here", it doesnt mean it will be safe to make banks or patch libraries. it only means we'll be entering into the testing phase in preparation to declare such.
i have no way to tell how long it will take me to reach the next beta version (0.7.0.0) and i'm sorry that xhip is not currently in a "proper" state. i really wish it was because then it could really be used by myself and others to make music with minimal difficulties.
the last couple years i've been spending less and less time coding and it may be that i'll spend even less in the future. i hope i can get xhip to beta 0.7.0.0 before the end of this summer though. |

thanks aciddose ur input is very welcome i hope everybody will use the version i have downloaded today that means it will be compatible if not i will send them the compatible version!
u made a nice synth with good sound but a very bad guy!
i hope u continue develop it i think it has great potential to be a good and usable synth!
