Following all the BS that floods this site, i am opening a thread which will support a change in the site, a change that will make this forum what into sth a little more mature from what is going on with it at the moment!!!!
Here r my complaints:
1.(this 1 goes especially 2 all the new guys) Stop posting top 10 every day, its starting 2 b boring, u recycle yourself!!!
2. also in the top 10 section, Peopel, if u dont have some new material 2 post, and u just recycle some1 elses tops then just do not post!!!
3. Stop "going down" on people that publish their parties, if an orgenizer decided 2 publish, he probably knows what he is doin'... just wish him good luck, and thank him 4 lettin' u know... this is your forum people, dont just go down on it...(quote, quote...)
4. Thank 2 all the founders of this forum, i am sure they've putted their heart and soul on 2 this site... and they do it 4 free... Respect!!!
This what i have 2 say 4 now, so feel free 2 add your 2 cents (Quote, quote)...

man you got a point, but if someone wanne write thier tops everyday let them... if it boring to you just dont look at his top....:)

way to go Guy. i second almost every word written, but i think the blue room has become an unsafe place to publish parties at .that's a shame, but the internet is free for the people, isnt it?
take it easy my man, isratrance is a good place to find info and kill time. respect to the operators, indeed.

About the top 10, I think you're right Guy.
As for the parties posting, you can notice that it's done usually by new guys that just joined the forum, and don't understand that it's not just the trance community which reads the threads in Isratrance. So telling them that usually helps by the way.
And the moderators are doing a great job. Kepp up the good work! |

a) I think that there should be a limit of 2 top10s a month for each person, for starters.
b) move the party posts from the forum to the main board. people give the exact amount of info they want to give to whoever. no comments are necessary, and in this case, more is less.
c) tact and intelligent posting can NOT be enforced 100%, since not 100% have tact and intelligence. BUT, stupid comments that are against the forum's spirit should be deleted immediately.
d) I don't know, but it seems that in the last 2 months, the borders between the sections are growing less and less clear (parties and trance in whatever country, cd reviews and chill out, unidentified and trance).... I don't know what can be done about this, but this is a growing problem which probably will grow worse.
e) THE TOP10 THING IS F***ING ANNOYING.
... now I can rest easy :) |

For starters , Guy, there's a board for this kind of post- be more alert and save me th moving.
as for top 10s- ppl like them- it annoys you- stay ouy (I do).
Parties- i agree with u- this will be solved, though, if ppl would think if what they write really helps or interest anyone before they hit the post key- this would eliminate most of these posts- show some consideration.
Unlike what a lot of ppl think there is a difference in the crowd reached by the parties annoncement on the main site and the forum- ppl who advertise parties are aware of that and make their own choises. |

what goes for top10.. you don't have to read them.. it pisses me off when ppl bitch about that kind of things..
cd reviews & ambient section are two different things..
and I think that all the cd reviews should go to the cd reviews section..
or do you think that ambient albums are not cds? |

Well, generally, the top 10 annoys me, because there are a few posters which I can count on to give an enlightening top 10, and some people that I don't always agree with their taste - but they have a well developed one.
Unfortunately, some of those get to page 3 within 2 days now, and I may miss them, or if I hear some tracks from that list a week later and I want to comment, I can't find it.
In the last 2 months, there have been more new posts in the top 10 section than in the 6 months before that. I used to really like the top10 section, because of many interesting, tastefull, and very well thought out top10s that people put a lot of effort into (getting the order of those 10 right is sooooo hard!). Now I usually don't even bother looking at new top10s, since so many are just another 10 tracks that someone took out of his "mp3 trading" directory in order to show off.
... and that's what the top10 has become. An unofficial mp3 trading section. Not something to show people's in depth musical taste. |

Asaf is right... ****** boring in the top 10 section nowadays.... I feel sorry for the people who puts the "hard worked" top10 and want some feedback on it and one day later its gone.... Well i can tcome up with a solution better than the ones posted here....

top 10 used to be a tastefull place most of the time.
now its a place for mafia ppl most of the time.
and for me it is very boring...
reading about tracks i cant get and cant hear...
what the hell for ? ? ?

We limit enough things here...
U can stop answer top10 and some ppl will understand the point and won't post it again and again.
