The Israeliens strike for a third time!. But on this occasion  theres a confict of sorts - most interesting and entertaining  though not as good as Volume 1, it might just  edge past the second edition - lets find out why!

1. Private Taste - First

(Its a relaxed opener, with lots of little percussion and entrances. The melody is very relaxing, I can see myself grooving with it lightly under the mid - day sun. A deepish morning tune for the outdoors, but great for clubs as well.)

2. Astrix and Atomic Pulse - Optical  Vibes

(Smashing!! This is a real energetic dance floor track with a scando feel to it. Thumbs up to this duo, one half of which used to produce victories. A real full on peice of music  which is simply a 'hit' in parties and  will be fire on the floor for sure!)

3. Illumination and Perplex - Real Magic

(My least favourite here, but only for the time i think. Not as likeable as the name suggests, I haven't found any magic in it as  yet, but theres still plenty of diving left to do so it might just grown on me. Fingers crossed)

4. Yahel - Evolution

(A big change in style from Yahel here - the melodies are gone. Nevertheless it still has a full on  feel and is  a great track to jump with. Sometimes I feel  its over and not going to take a direction - but thats just the best part - it just keeps coming back strong. Very promising stuff from Yahel who is about to release a new album , the content of which is along these lines - i believe)

5. Psysex - Amphitamiac

(One of my favourites here. The samples are taken from the crazy movie 'Requiem of a Dream'. The usual psysex bubbles and squeaks, the madness back and forth,  those inevitable samples , and those amazing almost 'epic' melodies toward the then end- beautiful!!)

6. Xerox and Maskalin - Fanatical Clubbers

(I sure ain't one of them, but I'm digging the track. Reminds me of some great parties in Goa I attended 3 years ago which had a very festive atmosphere and music wise I remember those tribal spanish shouts  of 'Ecuadar' and 'Free', to my immediate memory. A happy track, and I think thats exactly what the world needs today - preferably in a large dosage.)

7. Psycraft - Muse

(Another favourite here. Beautiful track really , I think almost better than anything on Gravitech. Happy, groovy, danceable. A real highlight of this compilation, go go Psycraft!!!)

8. Hujaboy - Counting Spirals

(Things are getting real dark here courtesy of Huja, but most full on with a bassline that will probably make people dig holes until they're underground. Reminds me of the old Krembo music, but only much better sound and production.)

9. BLT - Bass - tah

(The name says it all.)

Bom,
Chaitu

Oh and just one more thing about Lior M and Private taste. Lior Miler does NOT play NY House. there isn't really anyone in Israel (Except for Chico and maybee Assaf amdourski) who plays real NY House. Lior M plays Progressive usual club stuff (From Bedrock to Tenaglia).

That's what they say in the papers: "Lior Miller with a NY house set this ... in ..."

I personally never really heard him.

Liked Trax 5,7,8,9 but not the rest .
Private Taste sounds soooooooo Housey to me!!!
So cheesy, didn't like it at all .
Optical vibes was nice ... Yahel's Evolution was kinda refreshing but I still didn't like it that much ...
And Amphitamaniac does IT to me :D
Like... wow :)
Nice CD , but not more that that .
About 7,8,9 ===> left me breathless !
Nir made it big time :)
Yuli - no words to add :D and same for psycraft :)

When I first heard that Israeliens3 was out, I said 2 myself "another full-on CD from HOM-mega...".
Then, I heard it yesterday, accidently @ my friend's house. well, either I'm getting old or really bored with progressive trance, because I have only good words to say to Eyal and the guys on the compilation.

Private taste - well, I have no problems with house/club music as long as its done with good taste, and this is GOOD TASTE!

tracks 2-3 are quite ordinary, good trance but nothing suprising.

now, we get to the big Tomoly. I must say, that Yahel's track is the BEST track on this compilation. I only can hope that he will do what Analog Pussy did back then when suddenly, after releasing Nizhonot and cheesy full-on music they started releasing musical gems (I still listen to Shperma Pornomatic...).
YAHEL - bom, bom, bom bolenat for this track, if you notice you can almost hear Coneheads - Infatuation in it (and that's a big compliment man).

Xerox+Masklin - one of my favorite israely artists, never dissapoint me. a true funky masterpiece, also PsyCraft with a cute melodic track that somehow reminded me of Ofer's music at some points, and of course Yuli, nothing to add.

I'm still suprised that I actualy found a CD from HOM-mega that is so good for me (dont get me wrong, I think HOM-mega's productions are a big contribution to the trance scene, but somehow it was never my taste), maybe I'm getting old/bored, but anyway, I take off my hat for HOM-mega for this one.

Cheers!

this is by far one of the best compilations of the year! At first i thought it would be a  full on one like the first one but suprised it was loaded with the new fresh sounds from israel.
Once i got used to the sound i was totally hooked on it!! No need to go in depth on the different tracks 'cause they are all jewells!!
Thumbs up for mr. Eyal and his outstanding artists

Very good release of HOMmega,
i like most of the tracks, each one has it own style, but still they all fit as a whole album.

good for listening at home, in the car, and will work very good in the morning of every party.

it is melodic but not cheesy, it is interesting, but not to heavy on your brain.

my favor:  2!,4,5!,7!,9!
