what is it with israeli vinyl? nearly every bit i have has the worst errors in labeling, packaging, and pressing that i have ever seen... i went to the shop yesterday and saw they had a new optimus single... so i go to listen to is... but the labels are improperly attached and aren't centered... in fact, the labels were covering the grooves!!! what the hell is that all about? in the first place, so much israeli releases never seem to make it out on vinyl [i am STILL waiting for alien project, green house effect, power source - goaway2000, and many more titles] and when it does i wonder about buying it since there are so many screw-ups... for example: infected's classical album was released in so many parts: one single for disco/bust-a-move, a copy of the album where one record was actually psysex and it only contains like 6 tracks anyway, another copy with the correct album copies PLUS the psysex misprint, a single of the missing record from the original messed up album release... like WTF? i still don't know what the songs are called on my copies of "flying eye land" and "psychedelic krembo 4" since the tracklist is all mixed around and the number of tracks on a side doesn't even conform to what the packaging says... and perhaps most offensive of all is the TERRIBLE behavior of putting tracks on vinyl *DIRECT FROM A MIXED CD* so that you hear the start of a next song at the end of the track on the vinyl, rather than a smooth outro! thats soooooo cheap!

i just wanted to send a message to the labels over there that vinyl is important and maybe more quality control is needed in your processes! the reputation of israel is suffering... such good music, but such seemingly inept presentation. no wonder people pirate music!!! so: hom-mega, BNE, yoyo, and most of all - krembo.. please work on it! thank you...

I'm not really a part of the Israeli Trance makers, but I do love vinyls and i collect them for a few years now (no argue that Vinyl sound much better than Cd's). In the past I was involved with several musical projects and one of our main goals was to put our releases on vinyl.
The last Vinyl record in Israel was pressed something like 7 or 8 years ago (Trivia for all the Israeli folks - it was a record by Ethnix!!!) and than the Vinyl industry in Israel was terminated. Since than, whan labels in Israel wish to press vinyls they need to do it overseas, mostly in Europe, which makes this whole long proccess really frustrating. As the vinyls are being pressed far from here (and probably the record sleeves as well) the labels have almost zero control over the quality of the final product, which leads to all the fuck ups you mentioned. Also, I can imagine that when it comes down to Trance music it makes it all even harder.
