what exactly bothered you about the mixing? a lot of his tunes are pretty minimal and every single element has its space and can be heard in detail. the atmosphere and rhythms just draw you in so effortlessly, that it's kind of hard for me to even think of eq'ing or levels or any of that stuff. what would you change? i can't really imagine it sounding other than how it sounds. definitely, very special music.

the sounds are jumping here and there and dont "glue" in the spectrum, theres no correlation among them .. anyway we are not going to debate about that now.. its taste.
the meaning of the music and the message was great, the mixing not imho.

i really was each time thrilled espesicaly by this clearness/deepness and dynamic honestly.
There is a good difference to a lot of other cds from this years imo.
But then it is completely about our tastes for sure and that is totaly okay.
