So I was listening to this set Sub6 recorded for Israeli radio in 2003 and it's all bursting with awesome music. From Pixel to Domestic to Intelabeam to Astrix to Cosma and back to Sub6 it's all quality Psy Trance. Remember VA Think Sync ( http://www.discogs.com/Domestic-Pixel-Think-Sync/release/235701
) from that year? I really think it was one of the biggest post Goa years for Israeli Trance... Who's with me on this one?

Totally agree. Thinking back to those days "Think Sync" stands out as amazing (I still play "Which One" and "Simulated" sometimes at full on gigs nowadays), and Astrix was still making great music back then.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

So you don;t find Afgin for example to make any good old style melodic trance?

I think Israel ha splenty to offer these days in this scene... I think people just need to pull their heads out of their arse in this scene in general and stop being such judgemental wankers..           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

first, i think there are good artists today, but nothing to compare to 2001-2004 time.

and second, try compare the number of the cd releases in 2002 2003 and 2008 2009

there are no israeli rlses those dayz,, maybe 1 cd for every 5 month.. I think the scene are dying.           ..."Be yourself, let your conscience guide you...

Personally I see the scene expanding and adapting rather than dying... maybe not in Israle but on a global scale definitely... I hear prog and full on now being played regularly at popular clubs in Australia, even sometimes the new goa styles... OF course things look better "back in the day", everything always does... but the ability to accept change and adaption will mean you can continue to enjoy the scene for what it is, rather than sound like a burnt out whiney b*tch!           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

I only liked one tune from this comp, "Which1", but do you think this compilation would have the same impact today as it did back then?

Animal was released in 2000, and Storm in 2002.
Good stuff back then.

I'm with you guys. 2003 was one of the best years for Psy-Trance.
Cosma's "Non Stop", and Phony Orphant's "Symphony", Ticon's "Aero", just to mention a few non Israeli releases.
