I arrived to israel almost 8 months ago. I was amazed by the amazing parties and the wonderfull times I was having. I never even thought about arsim or arabs or anything.. I was not bothered by these people mostly because in Mexico we have a worst situation of people that just break in the party and destroy etc etc.. It never came to my mind and I was happy to be parting with people from different ethnic groups and religions. But after what happened to me at that party where I could of been killed or injured my views changed a lot. Now im afraid and when I see an arab in a party I get afraid. I mean I know it could be someone that will not harm me or anyone but I really get afraid and It really changed the way I viewed things about the situation in israel. I will always be a man of peace but things like this make me think twice about all that. |

One more thing tho that maybe will keep this thread alive or on fire muhaha
Seriously tho...
It is kinda weird to see foreigners participating in completely Israeli debates not connected to trance almost, such as this. ( All of u understand hopefully that this thread applies to life in Israel generally and the Trance situation is merely a micro cosmos of what happening in our country ). I really can't understand that from 2 reasons:
1. Are they that well paid so they have the extra time to go into Israeli forum and read all those topics that with all the respect to the fact they visited Israel in the past and even lived here for a while, is someone elses business alltogether.. IMO ofcourse
2. One needs to be so sure of himself to go to ppl with different metality and culture to tell them how to live their lives. It is an equivalent to me going to the Ozzy forum and start bashing them for being racist towards aboriginess till the 1970's or to the Greek forum and critisize their food for being with too much olive oil inside. WHY always the souvlaki is soaked with oil?
It's not that I am against it at all, I just wonder how bored one person can be to spend so much time on something that doesnt concern with him ( maybe a tiny tiny tiny bit of it does )
But still - opinions?

I think I wont reply to Yuli's post. He do seem full of hate toward me in every post he direct at me. I'll just say that if foreigners are not allowed to participate in your debates then just say so and I wont. But then please keep all the isralies out of the Scandinavian forum..ok?

Handa I had not even small shread of doubt that this will be your answer.
I dont hate you at all. Hate is very bad emotion and it affects firstly the hater himself, making him a miserable human being. I am just curious about why is it so interesting for u to mingle with us the Israeli's with our life and culture if u don't agree to 90% of it may u be right or wrong, I don't intend to critisize your points but to understand why u do that in the first place, coming logically from the general idea that one will hang out with ppl he likes and not with ppl he dislikes.
Neither I said foreigners are not allowed to discuss Israeli problems or comforts. But I do believe as one comes to be guest at someone elses house, it is the first minimum polite behaviour to learn the rules of that house. Ofcourse it is logical that certain rules are wrong for u, but if 90% of rules are wrong for u then hey, again I come to the same question - why to come here at all?
About the Scandinavian forum... Havent been here for ages surely never posted there. Not because I dont care or not interested but because I believe that is far more interesting for Scandinavian ppl than me. I would fail to understand the private jokes and u know... will feel strange. Surely I wouldnt try always to make my point to Scandinavian ppl how to behave, or lecture about the drinking problems in Finland or something like that, because it wouldnt be polite I guess.
Time to grow up. It is nice ( not as nice as being a kiddo, but has its advantages too )

@ Yuli
Let the guy express his thoughts, If not here then where ??
I think saying that a foreigner can't bring his input on a subject thats on the Israeli section is silly imho.
especially that by now he does understand most jokes and slang terms
If the dude is bored then so what ?? One could say you're boared and spending way to much times writing long on going threds on this forum and in all it's sections.
In my opinion as a proud ISRAELI i think the beauty is that anyone could express their feelings here.
And for me someone who lived in Israel for a bit or even just been there a few times can express himself and know just a bit more then someone who was never there @ all.
Of course for those who been and still living it might have more up 2 date info about the situation...
Buenos Noches.

P.S. - Don't get me wrong I enjoy reading the big debates and please Mr kristian keep it coming |

I also don't mind if foreigners critisize the life here - in fact, i've become grown to this fact, since that's what most of them do usually... esspecially those who haven't been in the area even.
But I can't question that, I just accept it - I guess it doesn't bother me as I said, and it shouldn't.
HandA and Mat N, hope there was a small lesson learned here by everybody.

Well I am the last person who will deny HandA's right to write where ever he wants. It wasn't the issue alltogether. The issue was that I was curious about the reasons standing behind this, cuz it does seems to me we ( as people ) generally are not to his liking.
I ask myself many times wtf do I go out to breath some air from the studio for five minutes and read/write on the forum. But I write here cuz I care - about my own country and my own ppl first of all... weird huh? I do not hectically participate in Scandinavia forum for instance.
Unlike u Buju, I dont like to read the useless and pointless arguments there are here from time to time, altho I am sure they add certain attraction to the forum hehe.
@Trip-
Ofcourse u can question that. Surely if u dont understand always how and why is it happening. About a lesson that was learned here - Mat N had a valid point no doubt. But this point is good in a vacuum or a laboratory. In real life after u come home and your best friend is hospitalized with a hole in his skull u see things differently.

I have not offended anyone in any of my posts here. I apparently did the crime of posting in the Israeli forum in a topic about a situation in Israel. All I did was debate and write my opinion just as everybody else did. But I guess a few people incl. you Yuli don't like any outsiders debating about situations in Israel. Frankly that's a bit sad in my opinion. But I guess no matter what I write you simply do not like it. Fair enough. I wont write a word more here. You win.
And no Yuli I do not dislike Israelis. If I did I doubt I would visit isratrance. Is that clear enough? So please once and for all stop the endless argument that I do not like Israelis. It's getting very old.
A little side note. You dont see any Greeks tell me to stay out of their forum because I post something there and at times also debate there. I used to travel around Greece a whole year and I love the Country and got good friends there. Thats why i post there. To keep the connection and get updated. Maybe it could be that's the same reason why I check the Israeli forum from time to time and sometime (not often) post here and debate here? Ever thought about that? |

Hmm.. thats to me a bit hursh, and on the border of this "Thin Line" this topic was originaly about.

Weird ?? not @ all... Nothing like a good patriot but why it bothers you so much that a non israeli (and for sure not a patriot ) brings his input on the subjects disscused here. (Or as you say just trying to figure out why he does it and why is he so bored.. )

I enjoy reading different things @ different times. all depends on my mod
Most times I enjoy reading your posts on different subjects and there are a few other forum members that i enjoy reading their views. sometimes it's entertaining and sometime it's plane rubbish (Still Entertaining tho..hehe)
Bottom Line - IMHO the point here is more personal then thinking of the issues of why one foreigner (Or a group of them) would bring their views the Israel (Or any other section)
I myself rather see/read about foreigners opinions in the Israeli section and for sure on topics like this one then see/read all their input on different parties like " Ya man Killaaaghhhh party.. this & this artist is gonna kill you for sure! best of luck from Ozbekistan"
For me thats the usless and pointless.
Good Day.

HandA and Buju
I will say it only once more and I cant be more straightforward than this:
I DIDNT ASK NO ONE TO STAY OUT OF ISRAELI FORUM
was it loud enough?
What I did say was 2 completely different things that u both somehow didn't understand:
1. That u have to LIVE something like this topic discuss to really understand it, and with no real encounter of the kind that we were talking here is rather hard to come and bash ppl for racism.
2. I was wondering loudly what is the general idea of a person to participate so loudly in debates of occasions he is not a part of.
This was all I said.
So why on earth to spin every word out of context? I know it is much easier then plainly answer the simple questions I put on the table. But maybe u should - I did not get an answer at all on these.

It always seem to that you are misunderstood when people start to challenge what you write Yuli. I read your opinion loud and clear and I doubt that 2 people "misunderstood" you. But whatever. I am out of here. Have a nice "undisturbed" debate. |

HandA challenging what I write means quoting what I have said and answering it.
I didnt see u do that. All I seen u getting pissed off and counter attacking, which is an answer on its own. But I guess if u had a valid reply for what I have said u wouldnt twist my words.
After all it is all written here clear enough, just read it - since it has got a point and u know it.
I would still be glad to have an answer.
