From what ive observed there is definetly a trend of more and more Israeli players moving to big European leagues and doing quite succesfully. Apart from the obvious guys like
Benayoun ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yossi_Benayoun) I am thinking of Almog Cohen who played a very good season for his club.

No doubt Itay Shechter will also move to a big league now as well.
