israeli doof festival BASIC STANDARTS

well i gotta say it !!! we are a JOKE
been at the last DOOF festival...
lets think.. about 5000 + that payed something like 250 NIS per ticket...
and what did they get>?
lousy sound system...
almoust NO DECO at all eccapt 2 screens for night V.J....
many many not so plasent faices
and really expanssive prices to get something at the location like food, bar and such.....
i reacken the org' made a FORTUNE from the event and they can be satisfaid....
BUT ITS A BLOODY SHAME , SHAME ON THEM !!!
trhis festival looked like shit....
minimum expances = maximum profits
specially when the production know that they will sell all there tickets like usually
so the think that pppl coming nevertheless
so instead of creating atmosphere ..
we just count the CASH

any criticism is good!
especially those very high ticket prices+ fuel ,food ,drinks...etc......its all around 800/1000 nis
also you need to give some respect to doof crew
because this guys one of the few good organizers in israel
that keeping the scene alive
p.s: i was'nt there but i heard that ppl enjoyed like no tomorrow

o.k it was a "carpet" of ppl at the dance floor and ppl did have agreat time there...
still when u up to this amount of crowed u need to get as better bais as you can!
anyway this is my belive...

the festival was great, and keeps improving from year to year.
i say enough of small time, bitter, and pathetic dj's \ organizers\ whatever\
such as yourself, who only thrive on talking shit about others
learn to give a good word, and learn to appreciate, instead of whining.

4 days festival in Europe costs pretty much the same as the Doof, but the small difference that here, in Israhell, the expenses of making a party such as this are ( if I am not mistaken ) far more than in any country in Europe.
I would agree with Zombi about the getting into pockets of others.. I think here is definitely not the place where you should do this.. Not super apropriate I would say.
Last question - did you pay that ticket? Or u managed to get in for free... If you did then no offence, but I know of some ppl that are making parties in the north, that just sneaked in 
And a little note - I personally know Zirkin for around 10 years - I think that he proved himself more than once with his Doof parties, not to be called names in public forum, to start with... A man with a "master plan" is often a woman |

in my opinion,
the doof pro. cold give much more than what thay did & if we look on the expenses of the fest. the doof pro. gived only things thate thay must bring the crawd.
i had lots of fun in the festival & realy had a great 4 days, but thate was becous me and my frinds that know how to have good times....
there isnt one thing that the pro did to make my time better exsept the festival (org. all the ppl together).

after reading all the people bitching, it all seems to me like a bounch of cry baby's. sound ? they brought 5 sets which we usualy gets 3. that mean they did not turn down the vol on purpose (like some people made it look like) , the police made it and you cant blame the doofers on that. sneaking people ? they handled it perfectly by getting them all out in few hours. deco ? doof never had an impressive deco and this is what doof is all about, NATURE. high prices ? check the euro fest's , 5e for a beer isnt cheap aswell. dirt ? you can blame yourself and yourself only.
imo the ones that should be ashamed are the ones that spend thier time on bitching insted of saying thanks. the doofers did an amazing job in the past 4 years and they deserve every peny they earned !

5000 peaple is 1000 free tickets for start.
out of 250 the seller will save something so its 240
240X5000 = 96000
30 dj's X (local price) 1500 = 45000
couple of more dj's from abroad = 10000
rent the place
rent sound
rent deco
rent topilets ? (did they?)
make the legal actions u need (with police , fire department , electric engineer..)
pay peaple that worked for you
not that i care , or had any idea of actual numbers.. just out of my head.

and yeah i think they can do more from what we all got there.
but to make a list with how much money they got ..??
and its not a fact just a opinion from ya.
so maby u can call zirkin or u.v to ask how much money or any crap was running there its more nice thing 2 do befor u shot things on the air in this open forum.
anyway 1 thing its true they was can make it better but tsabeat sayed allu me and no1 from the crowd dont know how money cost to make a 4 days festival and its not cheap b sure on that.
try 2 find the good views from this side of the scene,cause i dont see a lot of pplz that can make somthing like that in our litlle country.
be positive man try 2 find the good visions.

the actual number in the profit is 10 times more then i thought.

we are all friends and it's useless to fight and talk with extremism!!..
first of all, i must tell you all ,eitan is not a person who getting into puckets of ppl, (he is not greedy or "nosy parker"..)
second, to u eitan, even if they made a FORTUNE or not, it's really not a issue here.. not at all..
i think never the less when someone like zirkin macking a gr8 tradicion festival..
and the costs are SUPER-HIGH! (police, seucrity, stuff, and so much more)
ofcourse it's a massive responsibilily!!
A LOT OF WORRIES..!!
BUT, and there is a big BUT..
meiby eitan was too panatic about this, but he was basiclly right..
we all so in isarel can be massive festival, and 5,550-6,000 ppl are respectfull amount of trances,, look at the empires, the TAZ festival was much higher standerts then the doof (with all the respect to zirkin and uv and doof)..
at the taz, you could sow much more garbish cans, a lot more clean, more organize, camping area perfect.. the SOUND SYSTEM was BY FAR - better (FUNCTION 1)
this is massive org, that's what i call being a pro.
i have a lot of respect to zirkin, sence i remember my self gonig to trance evets (96-95).. zirkin was always booming ppl ass on the dancefloors.. and with a lof of soul in it..
and in the other side of it.
something in the doof need to be change..
meiby the loction, and the sound aproval becouse of it,
need to make it on a bigger landscape, and make it more organized, cleaner..
TVERIA police cousing a lot of problems..
i'm sure that next year it will be better
i hope the doofers are mind-opened and will lern from mistake..
p.s.: yuli mate, you can be sure the eitan is defenattly not a persone that snick in..
