hey ppl :)
I had a disscussion with a friend of mine (you probably know him as "Sykick" from this forum) about israeli DJs and i wanted to see your opinion about it.
Who are the good israeli DJs? and when i say good i mean the top of the list, the best DJs in israel (judging by mixing skills, track selection, building the set etc.), and can you compare them to world famous DJs? are they in the level of big DJs from the trance world?
bottom line - israel is supposed to be in the top of the trance scene (according the newspapers;)), does israeli DJs really are that good in world scale? |

i'd have to say (and this is for real!) borris (kinetic honda), for his superb beatmixing skills, and BLT. those are my personal choices. |

there's alot of styles ...
night , morning , full on, melodic....
it depand's (& a matter of taste....)
if u mean who is the best dj from the technik point of view i'll say:
DEDE (MDMA)
alltough he is not my cup of tea, but technicly he is good...
borris know's what to do prettey well too....;)

Some DJs are really good technicaly, some have really good material, but only few can combine these to neccesities into a perfect set. |

That's exactly where i wanted to go :) :)
and can you compare the good ones with DJs from the world?
are the best ones in israel good enough in world scale?

There's no difference between Israeli DJs and forighn DJs. Psy-Trance is one of the areas where the equasion goes the opposite way...In this scene we are equal to the rest of the world, and you can see it in every major festival in the world.
But technically we match - some better, some worse, don't expect to get a better DJ just because he's not Israeli, and we all saw many examples where a famous DJ was invited, played bad, and a little "MD guy" from Florentine/Herzelia/BeerSheeva saved the party. True?

i didnt have realy trance expirience with local dj about 1.5 years,some of them can start build a party on the right way(ofer dikovsky) and nobody can to make realy twist(remember- i dont like full on), but the point, i think, its the place of them. i mean 1.begin of party-isr 2.show time-some ger/sweed 3.killers for L.S.D. users - isr.
i think this the our/theire problem. |

I am yet to hear someone mix better then OFear. wow. end of discussion. the man PLAYS on the plata.
everybody else fades in/out. OFear squeeses and drops. big differance. his musical selection is not always my COT but it is usually very very interesting.

Ofer Dikovsky
OFear (heard him once- good technique indeed)
Guyshanti
DEDE
Zoo-b (a long long time ago :))
No other israeli DJs have really caught my attention. (and i did hear a lot of them).
