How safe or unsafe would an american be in israel? And would the american be treated with welcome and what not? Just curious. I want to come see the place one day before I get too old and caught up.
And is there a good party scene for an american in israel?

Americans are safe here. So are German, Italian, Brazilians, Brits, Ozis and so on  Safe as a common citizen in this country that is.
Israelis are quite nice to tourists and will aid you with pleasure. But they are suspecting evil to lurk anywhere, so it will rarely happen that an Israeli you've just met will invite you to his home... If you'll ask for directions or something like that, they will be more than willing to help.
Most Israelis know English to some level. Almost all of them can make a basic, if not more than that, conversation in English.
"Is there a good party scene?" ARE YOU JOKING??? You'll hardly find booty music here, but you've got lots of electronic music places (house, trance, electro, etc.), too many IMHO MTV music places, and so on. You will be welcomed in any club you'll go to (assuming you're over 18 - the legal drinking age), and through us, the Israelis of this forum, you'll enjoy the underground world too
So, what's your ETA at Ben Gurion Airport  ?

Israel is a nice place to visit when things get quiet.
Nice people, good food, lots of clubs, pubs, coffeshops, and TRANCE!!
The best time to visit is when its quiet, that way you can have very good time (especially when you like trance). |

israel is nice for tourists indeed. cheap hostels in non stop town and nice girl all around.

Im coming to Israel and India one day. When all this shit is over. If i was just 8 or 9 years older i would have been able to experience aot more than I ever will. ooooO well. i will let you guys know however, when I do decide to show up. Hopefully someone can help me plan a trip one day.

i just saw on the news about the bullshit rumors of war.... that the war with iraq (if it ever happens) would possibly move to iran and then israel would be in the middle... whats the view on your side? i cannot express the amount of hate towards the governments of the world right now that i have.... arggh!

dude you cant blame them for wanting to stop all the "evil-doers"...
i mean those (iraq and iran) are countries supporting terror all over the world.
and they are to blame for what happend on the 9.11 and bally....
if we dont stop them the will soon have nukes.
and we realy realy realy dont want that to happen.
