Israel own! I agree with Cyber Punk we have the longest dicks.
When i see global worldwide electronic music scene Israel is so small so noone can see it. In electronic music the only two projects that ppl recognizable somehow are Infected Mushroom and Astral Projection. That's it! If i will name here German or English producers which are worldwide known then this list won't be finished soon.
Now as i said in past(and u all got upset) psy music isn't proffesional! it is shit! so it attracts many untalanted formula creators. Israelis got the trick better than others that's why so many Israeli produce music. Labels require no talent, no sound just nothing so Israeli artists make 10 tracks a month in good case (i mean minimal production).
Why to work if you can get 1000$ for month doing nothing? two releases and two dj sets for average artist cover 1000$, bit higher than minimal wage in Israel, common do math!!!!
Smoke weed everyday and press some buttons on keyboard!!!

well well well, isnt this a lame thread mods??? is this why we are here??? i can see a lot of threads locked and i have always thought the mods are doing an amazing job here in isra, but i really should say theyve failed here... no offense though... its still not late... wish i could do something...

Going to say something contoversial here. Everytime I am at a party and start a chat with Israelis..the first thing they will tell me...Israeli trance in the best. Fuck..I have heard that like a hundred times before, just so predictablr. A patriotism is all good...but still....when 95% of psy trance coming out of Israel is so mediocre....i mean that just blind patriotism...something i do not really understand.

Everytime I am at party and start a chat with Russian he/she is already drunk! 95% of Russians getting drunk from vodka, is it a patriotism or nationalism? Common, vodka is so mediocre. It is blind patriotism i guess. Something i don't really understand.

Funny that you say that Israeli artists play in every good party worldwide because in Canada we never see any besides Infected Mush who's here 4 times a year to play in cheezy clubs playing house music.
The main reason we don't see israeli artists here is quite simple ... a lot of them have an attitude problem like saying other acts suck and most of them are convinced they are the best shit ever. That is if they show up in time, with people like Astral and Astrix you might just pay a plane ticket and no one shows up. Quite pathetic if you ask me.
In a party here Astrix (that showed up 8h late for his set, the party was almost over) asked a big security agent to stand next to him on stage while he was playing his live act ... as if he is rock star with fans running after him on stage, what a joke !!! Or I have seen Astral refusing to take the plane because the ticket was on Air Canada, apparently, they don't fly anything else then el al first class.
BUT ... I find this sad cause I am sure there are tons of good israeli artists that are nice people. Like Michel from Safi Connection, this guy came here, got scewed by the promotor, missed his flight out and got stuck in Montreal and missed a festival in Brasil and with all this crap he was still super cool, amazing guy with great attitude.
It is kind of weird for us to see artists like X-Dream, Absolum, Deedrah, Joti, Dino and other pioneers of this scene and see they are super nice, respectfull and laid back and then see people like Psysex and Astrix that act like they are god and bitching about evrything.
I think israeli people think israeli trance is the best because of their star system ... trance over there seems to be like show buisness over here. You have to say your the best of the best to be taken seriously, put so much hype over an artist hoping that people will buy whatever you have to say or sale.
Here by doing that people get no credibility. |
