 Let's start this topic again.
You're not right , if there's so many parties with isra artist - this can be and another thing - thay had a good marketing and of course thay making BIG TRANCE NAMES , but unfortuanately the most of isra trance stars playing the same tracks ...i can't make diference between most of them
But if i can help you to sleep much better - Yes , You're Right !
All other musicans can leave trance now and try to play something else...

marketing is the one thing as theivo said... and the other is the crowd on xtc that wants those skazi-like traxx.. (i m not putting all the israeli artists in one bucket but the 97,34% )

Well, sincearly, I never considered Artisrts from Israel good or professionalists....of course there are several exceptions....
Even in the begining of this scene, I always prefered the english or north european sound compared with the productions coming out of Israel....
Of course this is my personal taste and opinion! So, it doesn't count on global level!

Uhh, best in what? And there are many parties without any Israeli artists in the line up. Truth is that Israel has produced big names to the scene and all the respect for that. But there are just as many opinions if they are the best, in what ever is meant in here, as there are people reading this topic, and still further, every single opinion is just as important as any other so as a conclusion I would say that it is a matter of opinion whether someone is the best in something.
My personal opinion is that I can't really define from where the best artists are coming, I guess from everywhere and from no where, am I starting sound irrational, yes time to stop...

One of the best parties ever worldwidely,the second Samothraki,didnt had even one israeli artist 
Ok time to get serious,the difference between israeli artists and the rest is that the israeli guys put a lot of effort in promotion,i mean you see them giving interviews all the time,appearing on radio and tv programs,promotional shirts and stickers everywhere,they are the ones remixing famous tracks and bands like Prodigy,Nirvana,Madonna and the rest and other stuff like that.
The main difference though between them and the Europeans mainly is that the Europeans spend more time in the studio while the Israelis spend more time in parties and in the internet making PR.
And because in the end of the day its the music that counts i can now seriously say that Israel versus Rest Of The World 0-1

There was a time in our scene where you really could not hear where the music came from and where the people behind the music were anonymous. The music should speak for itself and it should not matter where people come from. |
