Trance as in normal trance, or closer to normal. I dont mind if it has psy or goa influences. I listed below what I have and that should give a good example of what Im after. I just wanted to know if theres many good artists to check out old or new. Looking to expand my collection!

Digital Karma - Hyper Sound
Emuna - Emuna
Eyal Barkan - Mr. Club-Trance
Eyal Barkan - V.I.P.
Oren Barkan - Electronic Sound
Yahel - Super Set
Yahel - For The People
Yahel - Waves Of Sound
Yahel - Around The World

Doughcherry, ask the moderator who's done that in pm, i'm sure you'll get a proper answer man.

Hey StraydoG, try to run a search in our section here, with the word 'nizhonot' (this is how this genre known as).
You'll find great information and ok information, pick your favorites : )
Have fun in the blue rooms!

For all those who bite here- remember that back then, this smelly genre brought the trance-scene a huge awareness to the trance scene. Many people support this scene thanks to this particular genre. So what's the big deal?          "From bitter searching of the heart

Because it was just that - off topic. StraydoG asks a pretty straightforward question, and you just had to give a flippant off topic comment. If you don't have anything useful to contribute with, please refrain from commenting at all.

Well, that's how I interpreted your comment anyways.

To avoid this topic going even more off topic, I ask you to make a topic in the http://www.isratrance.com section on the forum, if you have any further comments or questions to me concerning my action. Or ask me in private.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Sorry to stir up a little trouble, I know alot of people into psy do not like normal trance.

Have I been in a coma? Almost. Here in New Zealand out shops sell stuff all, mostly useless commercial stuff ie. Ministry of Sound things and alot of house which I hate myself.

T.D.R - I thought nitzonot was more of... I dont how to explain it, but its kind of goofy. Trance like yes but uses weird sounds. I had Holy Men - Nitzch O Not & Oren Barkan - Baraka, not quite my style.

I was wondering about artists, even new ones that make good trance but are not part of the psy scene like Yahel is so would be harder to find unless they are a big international name. Chances are when they are international though its commercial and they lost their true style.

Thanks anyways for helping me out though.

There is still loads of trance produced that is not "goa" or "Psy" specifically. Lots that doesn't have 2 minute breaks. Lots that will mix in very nicely with Psy and morning sets, uplifting stuff, that isn't cheesy. It takes a lot of looking around for, but it is there.
Here in Manila, I run a night which plays just that, but also having it melodic Psytrance... and we have to, because pure Psy would just scare people here away, and then they would never even get introduced to it little by little.
It's kinda sad people are still jumping on each others cases for the type of trance they listen to or enjoy. This is a "trance" forum after all.
I haven't been here in a while, but it's clear that some people still don't wanna accept others tastes
