Anyone else familiar with/fans of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole?

He is a Hawaiian singer and Ukalele player and is very influencial in Hawaii. He died in 1997 as a result of (I think) a heart attack tied to obesity.

"Facing Future" is a really great album, 'Hawai'i '78' is one of my favorite songs.
