Beer Sheva rules :-)

Move here, the weather is better, the people are better and I'm here!
The people are _BETTER_ ? oh gosh, it's full of arsim ! sometimes good trance comes to the forum and you expect _GOOD_ people will appear but the dream shatters as you enter ...
I think there's a major difference between city trancers and moshavkibbutz trancers , y'know?
not for the good or the bad, just...blah, different! :) (tho if they have a spark of arsiyut it can only be bad). my last remark would be , I live in the south and my "trance friends" are from the kibbutzim around . oh and two from sderot ;-))
I have another thing to say to Philip.
we come alone to this universe and we go alone, gotta learn to deal it, it doesn't matter how many people you meet, you'll never get satisfied and always judge them, maybe the people ain't the major problem, if you know what I mean (?)

Ananda604, you need to know the right people. Yea - it's full of arsim just like any other city in Israel. But there are good people.

Mike: I am sure there are some good people , I just haven't had the chance to meet them ...
and that's exactly what I am saying- that the forum beer sheva brings good trance sometimes , but the good people don't come + bad bad selectzia ... the only time I was in the forum and had the greatest fun was in Simon Posford. the hall was FULL of great people who came from all over the country, I hope someday it'll be like that, cause if not, I think the forum is just wasting their money by bringing artists no arsim appreciate (the arsim would be there no matter what ) they don't go sniffing around about parties, they care for going out , drink , score with chicks .. and it's a shame it happens while great d.j's play . I know it'll never change , I have accepted its "destiny" , I go there only to listen to the music once in a while , but still I hate those arsim who pick on me , truly pissing me off ...

Mike, Ananda,
You have a real gem down in Beer-Sheva, called the "Q" club. I'm sure you've heard about it.
I had the pleasure of playing there a couple of times (with Asherun & Native Radio), and the place reminds me of the Dinamo in its second year - virgin, lacking any pose, a place that you can do almost whatever u like (musicaly speaking), the ppl who come there come for some good time and good music, in short, a DJ's heaven.

you should check the place out (I hope u did already), and so should anybody who wishes to have a good, quality time & music.
The place holds a trance evening every thursday, hosting live and DJ sets from both Israely & foreign artists (they hosted Son Kite, Native Radio, BIM, Brain Bubbles, BLT and more).

and the crowd that comes there ranges from trance veterans to just ppl who come for some release - I personaly love the atmosphere of ppl with no pose.

cheers

Is it like the Dinamo in it's early days crowd-wise is the question...

I used to go there wearing some really worn out shoes and came dressed as comfortable as possible for dancing, and 99% of the people were like that. I think that's what made the Dinamo special (other than the music which is always great), the fact that people came to dance there, not to show off their cool new clubber shirt.

Hey, you know Beer Sheva is Israel's groin.  hehe, i didn't see many trancers but i really didn't get the chance to. Beer Sheva +Hazterim airforce base + hot dudes= bad food, bad work, but still very very cool!

forget hadera, go to haifa or tel aviv or hell there are tons of parties outside the city too.

hehe, your all great people

Q club? Don't know about it. I'm not really interested in clubs - especially in Beer Sheva. I'll check it out some time.

Auspexx Kshisha: hmm thanks! I haven't heard about that club, odd... where is it exactly?
I know there's the Baraka, but I donno what trance quality they bring there, stuff like Future prophecy I assume...
Mike: I met two cool people from Beer sheva last friday! hehe , fucking C-R-A-Z-Y :)
I don't like clubs either , I just say if a good d.j comes, I go to the forum to listen to his music because I get free entrance anyways, why not using it ? :)
Mike: I met two cool people from Beer sheva last friday! hehe , fucking C-R-A-Z-Y
Like I said - Beer Shevians are cool people. But not only - I'm sure that there are a lot of cities with bad stigmas (Netanya, Ramle) but with good people.
Someone said in this or in the other thread that someone was ashamed to be from BS. Why? I'm proud to be from here - far away from all the mess of the center.
When is the last time you (you plural, not you Ananda) have been in Beer Sheva? Did you see how much it's developed now?

I'm not talking about only BS - I'm talking about every city with a name of a crime flooded place.
