Hi Vagashue...
I understand you commments and appreciate someone open to other people using grafics that dont belong to them and try to get credit for them. I cheked deviant art and saw beautiful things done by artists (real ones and generous) and all they ask (not royalties) is that credit is given... There is a BIG difference in using somebodis work and giving them credit, and then someone pretending that somebodis elses work is their own... Using templates is common but ususally recognition or credit is given...
You don't live in Mexico, so your opinion is limited to what you read on this forum, which is great. But if you knew a little more, then maybe you wouldn't be so quick to defend. I only say this because I think it is important that when artists present their work, nobodi steals it.
Do you know what I mean?
Why Cuca doesn't reply for himself with his defense... he is an adult... and why is his page all of a suden with server difficulties?

thanks müestik (aka) psyborg for your comments!!! you're an inspiration for me;), you remember me?? we meet in maia shop afew time ago here in mexico jaja.... thanks Rik and Vagashue for your suport!!....
and thanks Farbini and Cjillumination to take a few time to check the website 
about the coments of the template of my website, its so normal. i have many business as publicity agency, as some of friends know. also ismerai records, my shops and my press company... so i dont have time to design by my own the website... one of my great friends and parthner is my new webmaster.. as you can see on my website in any place saids that i,m the webmaster or the designer..... and....... like the contrat of the template, Dynamic factory... one of my clients.. said that is not necesary to credit them.. So i hope you like, our tem just want to give you a nice time on our website, and i to spend my time in the art and designs for my clients.

whats wrong whith you guy?, this is a pacific place no?, what's your problem?, i can tell you guy that i was living on Mexico since september 2005 to february 2006. i habe the mikology and metagenesis flyers on my hands made by psikodelicious, that are great artistic job. flyers that he or she use the renders i send you.. but i was looking and i cant find in any place where psikodelicious give credit to the artist who made the renders. as you said. and he or she i supose the guys of the parties give money to psikodelicious for the artistic job on the flyers, so why you dont said that he made something bad?. just leave the artists make their work guy, anybody is doing something bad

Excuse me.... apparently i have been dragged into this stupid conversation. I have a couple of things to say.... First of all, I am graphic designer finnishing my thesis in Information Design. I have been freelancing for 6 years now creating all kinds of designs for clients worldwide. I work very very hard and am very dedicated to my work. My clients are satisfied with the work I do for them because I donīt close a project until they are satisfied.
1. I use RESOURCES yes. I use fonts, stock, and other stuff that other people dedicate themselves to make available to designers. The design resources industry is HUGE. If you check my Deviant Art link you will see I credit the original renderers when i use their renders. These are people who dedicate themselves to one specific aspect of design and therefore are very very talented at what they do. I apreciate these artists and their contributions to my work. I also PAY to buy quality resources such as custom fonts and fotos. I will also be releasing a set of layered Photoshop files on my Deviant Art site as RESOURCES for other designers out there to USE freely. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS.
2. Resources are created to be USED by others.
3. The template issue.... I am a designer and I donīt support the use of templates for many reasons.... I think diferent companies or clients have special, individual needs that DESERVE an original design. Design firms or freelancers should especially go all out on their web pages beacause it shows what you can do and what abilities they have.... Not to mention templates affect freelancers very negatively.
4. I donīt apreciate people making asumptions on the way I work. None of you know me or have visited my studio. I donīt have to demostrate my abilities to anyone. My work talks for itself. I donīt mean to offend anyone with this reply and donīt expect any replies either. Thanks for the support!! You know who you are! |

cuca dude...............honestly, it's embarassing to see how many ideas and designs you've been ripping off over the years from our mexican trance designers. Golem, Dende, Chinix, Deliria, Kinetik, SOE and even me...just to name a few (who knows who else you've been copying). Every time I see a new flyer of yours, its simply a collage of different peoples artwork. You're not a bad designer but you don't even bother to come up with your own ideas. Sad. Very Sad. Hmm...now that I think about it, it might even be flattering to the designers... You worship their work but in such an awkward way... though I believe it's a waste of time to discuss this. You already know what everybody in Mex thinks. I've seen oh so many people stare perplexed at one of your "designs" thinking its someone else's (the original). As Chillumination so very well put it... COPY KILLS.

oh and Cuca ... how LAME and PATHETIC is it to open another UserID under the name "Vagashue" and throw shit at another designer? Jealousy? Hate? WTF??
This has gone way over the top. One thing is to be rippin off all of dende's designs, and another is trying to distract ppl from YOUR shitty behaviour acting like Dende is the one doing wrong.
