What programs are you using? This is good for a first attempt! Well since its your first try I think you have a LOOOOOONG way to go and ALLOT of learning. There is many things that you need to fix in your sounds. Kick drum, bassline, overall mastering of the track. These things you will find out in time...

hey thanks for the comments. i just learnt cubase, and iv been basically using that. about the equing - ahah - i knew that would be very messed up. have made this using 3 different sound systems. ahaha. presently im using my sony headphones so i kind of expected that stuff to be messed up. hehe. i guess ill keep at it and post it again when like iv finished another minute or 2. maybe ill get a nice sound system to eq it on. .

Train your ears my friend... It really does'nt matter what you use, just as long as you are use to them... I know guys who make their whole album with head phones.... READ the mother of all threads.... Really good insight from the masters           Shut up and dance...

Liked your ideas,
loved the liquid sounds and samples in the track though IMo really feel u could really pack a punch in the bassline
Try using your equi and compression in cubase
