I got a feeling there are "watchers" out there who want to stop all outsider musicians to come and play in the US.
Now, do you believe by posting on this forum does actually hurts more than promotes?

There are some "BAD" eyes on it for sure, take example of the Phatmatix incident, probably some immigration assholes are looking here to see who is coming next so they can stop them to get onboard.

Please, lets find a solution to this exposure.

Peace.           www.myspace.com/enertopiapsy

yea the ins or immigration or whoever would have to know full names, locations, etc etc to be able to turn say, kindzadza into a real name that russia would even know.

Its unlikely but possible. its more likely that the US is just terrorist crazy and isnt letting hardly anyone in, and since psy artists are rarely legitimate business men (in the standard corporate sense anyway) they are less likely to be granted a work visa..           .:.vaxination.:.

Well, its easy, all you have to do is put the artist name on Google, and will appear real name too, most of times.

Example:
taken from Myspace.

"Over the last 5 years Stephane Rault has established himself as one of the top french psytrance producers"

"Stephan Rault" real name.

You mentione Kindzadza:
http://www.psydb.net/artists/k/kindzadza.php
Another real name.

I mean, if goverment is looking on this forum, they are surley googling.

I would surely hope they have bigger fish to fry than a few harmless musicians coming to perform in the US ..           New Album : Spirals of Time : Now Available !

No, I don't think so.

I think it is like vaxination says, they don't look like international business travelers, they don't work for international corporations, they don't have the money, property or connections that most international business travelers have.

So the INS suspects them of coming here to stay, and that is that.

Because US economy is in critical times, and immigration are a bitch when it comes to work without permits, believe, it is true. Im not saying this is the case, but for a fact, Immigration fuckers look at thos working visas, if they know they are coming here to play and getting paid, they will go after them.

That's why they ask, "What is your intention of this trip" when you approach immigration on the airport, if you say" Well, I am coming here to DJ for a day or two, and then I go back home" you will never get through that border.
So, immagine one of those guys looks here who is coming and from where, easily reported to the Airport authority with full name.

again, I am not saying it is happening, but, what if yes....

Artists come with tourist Visas, but if immigration know they come here to DJ, which means, work and getting paid, they will not let them in.

That's the whole point.
Sux big time.

well, here's another angle of it. How about those guys like tiesto? paul van dyk? carl cox? any of the very very popular RAVE dj's from overseas, they don't really seem to have a problem coming over here every month for residencies in new york and los angeles club's and massive raves with thousands of people.

i really think this appears to be an isolated incident. Maybe these folks have proved to their government that they are coming home. I think its very difficult to ignore Tiesto or Armin Van Buren walking through LA airport with 4 crates of records, a laptop, headphones, midi controller and maybe a small entourage of people without saying, "hey are you on tourist visa?, then go home!"

I wonder what kind of visa's the rockstar dj's have to allow them to cross our borders monthly, and sometimes even weekly as they trot all over planet earth sharing their form of electronic dance music.

something tells me here that money talks, and unfortunately the psy scene doesn't have any money, so maybe we're not bribing the right officials when it comes time to bring our favorite act across the pond.

food for thought           We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.

A type of work visa they have for big time musicians, where you need atleast 6 letters from orgz who would like to work with you, a sponsor who doesn't have to pay you any salary, and your name in magazines/ newspapers/ flyers.
So for psy-artists that aren't the size of
IM, it would be extremely difficult to get the appropriate work visa.

Tiesto, Carl, PVD make buckets of money and the type of music and events they play, I would now consider mainstream and would fall under cooperate conditions. Of course, so would rock music. You don't see Psy artist playing in warehouses, lofts or at some campground (I don't think I've ever seen them at a rave, clubs only) Is comes squarely down to money and how much of it would feed into the capitalism that runs the show around here. If some "hippy-artist" who wants to come here isn't part of that, they'll be sent back. I guess with the economy in the shitter, the U.S. can't "afford" any progressive minds right now, LOL.
One a side note tho, didn't something like surveillance of the India forum end in something terrible. Enertopia's though is not too far fetched, eh?           "It's ALL about the clickety-clack!!!!"-Neuronympho
