Yea Ive been following that story... quite a sad state of affairs.
Hope they find the right culprits and make them give up their lives for the life they took.

Thanks to the newspapers and newschannels (to blame particularly :headlines today and ndtv 247)...my mum knows abt curlies and theres something very suspicious fermenting in her mind...

i , myself have been there enough since a decade or so .
....it has been from so many years , everyone knows abt it .. so why make all the fuss again n again? since millenium episode it is , but my question was towards people who didnt even go there long enough to know the actual scene rather than making some random comments , and oh definitely not against the author of this thread

Bad publicity for Goa  Irresponsible attitudes of a lot of people who lose control somewhere down the line ! We got to respect women and not be silent spectators to all the rubbish going around. Women too need to act responsibly and be with trusted friends especially in a place like Goa for all that it has become now !
This is a rude awakening to be the change we would like to see in the world !

Going to goa is not a mandate, but a person can make perception from what people talk about goa... so many people say skazi sucks but there are people who like him as well, innit ? Lets all respect what people say, be it anyone aXis or detonatik.

man .. this whole rape , murder and drugs thing is a sure sign of the times in goa .. was already going downhill for 6 - 7 years .. this is a new low .. the vibe is long gone .. anyone who knows goa well knows this .. or ur just plain lying to urself and clinging on to an idea .. end of rant .. peace .. hope it improves but highly unlikely imho

coming back to the topic .... Goa indeed is a shrine with a state of mind of its own ,
there is Goa beyond calangute-anjuna-vagator belt ....and its people
infact more than 90%
for sure it comes down to personal taste and geographical locations as well

goa isnt a shrine, it may be for some folk, but not for all.
this thread cud go on forever, im sure every1 has a view on the place, good or bad. but thats not the point. do we turn a blind eye on all the bad press that the place has?
all i can do is cling on to beautiful memories of the place, which im fortunate enough to have. cant really relive the goa experience anymore.
geography wise theres no denying the beauty of the place, but what good is geography if its inhabited by the scum of the earth??
sure there are still a few good scenes happening in goa, but thats a minority and ppl know that!
anyone whos crazy enough to go to goa "season" time will see it for what it really is.....keep ur eyes open ppl, it really isnt all that difficult |
