i've noticed this very strange thing when listening to online radio in a particular internet cafe...The songs seem to stream well, but the kick seems to be "missing"...(its very hard to describe exactly what i'm hearing )

i've tried things like switching off the eq -- it still does not work, but have not tried listening to other tracks like pop etc. (pls forgive my laziness )...

second problem i face is in my headphones, i get this vibrating noise in my left speakers (a "drrrrrr" -- torn speaker kindoff noise). but this happens only on pirated movies, tracks i'm working on etc. I do not see this problems in released tracks / original cds...what goes?

Thanks for your time           Interviewer: "So Frank, you have long hair. Does that make you a woman?"
Frank Zappa: "You have a wooden leg. Does that make you a table?"

I never trust my headphones when it comes to kicks (especially kicks)... They ALWAYS sound different and I'm talking about my own stuff as well as releases.

hmmm...was working fine till i dropped my headphones...but then again, if the headphone is damaged, why is this prob occuring only on pirated (or lets say, not properly mixed) audio???

im not quiet sure....unless the pirated tracks youve
heard were mixed in mono....and then you get more
noticable phase cancelation. it might be a slight
phase differance between both your headphones
that occured from the drop, or something completely
else....go fix them.
