Hm .. Old Goa trance, manmademan, MWNN, The Infinity Project, Eat Static and all of this. Yeah I do Rain, and you know it. But I prefer Old-Isratrance, like Shiva Shidapu, Yamabikaya, Tandu, Sandman, Infected Mushroom and such New-Isratrance is for me full-on full-on and yes, full-on. What happened to the older sounds of Isratrance?

It wont happen over night. As I see it many countries and not only Israel goes more and more commercial. I call it the "Scooter" period in our history of this scene. To be honest there's not much difference between a German super rave ala Mayday or a Rotterdam Trance Mega rave and the music in our scene these days. Got that Junya and co?
The band Scooter (from Germany) just make a little bit faster music but the result is basically the same.. Anthem "trance" of the worse kind. Hmmmm "trance"? there's not a single trancey or hypnotic element in that music. It's full of breaks and not even close to being psychedelic. Hands in the Air and whistles in the mouth kind of music. Just like the majority of Full On, Neo Full on and copy & paste music that's flooded our scene. No offense of course. What I write here is my own opinion even though I do share the opinion with a growing number of people around the world.
It's really a big shame but it's the reality of the major part of our scene today in many many places where people instead of stopping up and look at what going wrong just follow the "wave". That's a blow to Denmark and sadly also Malmoe these days!
Thank god for the underground that luckely still go strong in some countries. Keep going on and show the world how it can be done |

I have listen to suntrip records and to tranceform records and they sounds like the classic psychedelic trance from 1994 up to 1998, if more artists are ready to make oldschool instead full on pszchedelic trance became like in the old times |

woow, cool to see still so many love that "old school" sound
That's the music I fell in love with in 98, and it seems like we are married now, héhé!
There is still great music today but almost nothing beats the best trance-cds from 95-98...
Als on the dancefloor it is magic... I still play "old" tracks mixed with "new school" tracks in my sets and it's amazing how much energy you have in that music!
I truly hope some more artists will create that melodic trance style in the future with modern productions and some extra nice surprises, and more important, that some other labels will start to release this music as well, as we feel pretty lonely out there!

I sold and gave away most of my post-604 stuff (1999-2005 prog/full-on)...I cherish the old 604 (1994-1998) classics like babies though...
