I think the gaian mind summer festival is somewhere close to pittsburgh. Its a really nice festival - you can find more information on it on this site itself. |

get the Shadow Lounge going again.

all currently in discussion about trying
to get an event together in Pittsburgh.

im getting restless. any new info?
i have been thinking more and more about how i'd like to become an organizer for the area. i really dont have the cash for that sorta thing. i dont even have a job at the moment. i know i'd lose money too, but i guess that isnt a big deal.

We may be trying to put something together
for early July. Right now I'm commited to
making this Analog Pussy event happen in
Cleveland. Hopeufully we will get the details
worked out by the end of may. We are looking
at a possible outdoor spot. The funding will happen once we get the final details together. In the meantime keep your eyes
open for possible available loft/cafe/lounge
kind of spaces like the Shadow lounge that
we might be able to use. We will get
something going again.

hey guys,
is shadow lounge rented for when dan is back here?
this place might be an option
Hi-Tops next to Pittsburgh’s Baseball Park
200 Federal St. Pittsburgh, PA
its where they have an open deck dj night here, they just started going there a few months ago and since moving there have stopped charging a cover so it must be pretty cheap. I have no idea what it looks like though.
it could be easily reached by bus too which is probly a big plus crowd wise. |

Unfortunately, the Shadow lounge will
not be a good option for us anymore.
Dan contacted them and found out they
just got a liquor license, and events
can only go until 2am.
We are trying to get an outdoor gathering
together, for July when Dan comes back,
so hopefully we can make that happen. We
should know for sure by the end of the month.
Let's try to get a list of possible
indoor places we could use that can go
atleast until 4am preferrably later.
