i haven't seen much prog activity there but a zenon records dj who moved to nyc just posted advertising himself so hopefully things will pick up!

commercial progressive trance or progressive techno I know events pop up every so often... but progressive style pushing to psytrance only rly earlier at the indoor psy events... It's not quite my cup of tea to dance too... but I like listening to progressive walking down the street |

I've heard Monkey play a techie-minimal/prog set in NYC back in the day...if that counts 
Look out for 28th day events- we just had a park party a few weeks back that was about 75% prog.
There's also the Activate crew who used to do the parties at the Sapphire Lounge....

yes, there is almost always progressive early @ psycheground.
other than that, keep an eye out for tony's sets. there are no longer all-progressive parties. but there is a thriving minimal/tech-house/techno scene here which has a much bigger following than psytrance and is a bit more interesting than today's psy-progressive. |
